I have been finding a lot of fan art depicting Hera and Kanan finding Ezra when he was eight and thought theres a story here. So I decided to write one. It takes place not that long after the events of A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller, a book that depicts how Hera and Kanan met and I highly recommend checking it out. I've never really posted one of my short stories at all (unless you count the one that was published in my school paper as filler) so please be kind in the comments.
