Ch.10: I Feel Like I'm Missing Something or Someone part 2.

It's been two weeks and I'm still having the same feeling.

Like I'm missing something or someone. And for the life of me I can't figure it out.

I was interrupted by Jillian's voice calling out to me. "Sweetheart are you okay? You've been daydreaming almost everyday now you're starting to worry me *mia figlia dolce*"(my sweet daughter).

"I know and I'm sorry mom it's just that I keep having this feeling I'm missing someone or something. It's making me feel like I'm losing my mind slowly mom can you please help me figure it out." I said exasperated with myself as I took a sip of my hot tea.

Mom and I try to have some quality time because we don't always get to see each other when she actually does come into the cafe.

So we try to get together twice a week but at the least four times a month.

We have swet ice tea for the summer hot tea for the fall and hot cocoa from scratch for the winter.

Then mom will take me shopping and we get something to eat and if I don't work at the club that night I'll spend the night. And we'll bake and try out new recipes.

She chuckled at me "Sure dear let's go through a list of things okay." she said.

I nodded my head in agreement to her.

She clapped her hands together "Okay let's start,pull out your wallet." I did as I was asked.

"Okay pull out the following dear." she said sweetly.

"Yes ma'am." I said.

"Pull out all your credit, debit and banking cards and place them onto the coffee table along with your I.D. and your club I.D." Mom told me.

I pulled them all out "Now are you missing any of those things I just asked you to pull out." she said to me.

"Nope I have them all." I said to her.

"Okay then did you pay your rent and all your bills including your phone too." Mom said scrunching her brows together.

I chuckled "Yes I did I paid them all.I said to her her. "Especially since Jerome raised my rent to spite me." I said shaking my head at the thought of how much my rent is.

"Why are you making that face?" I asked her.

"That is  complete *cazzate*  (bull shit)  ohh excuse my language please dear I really do believe that man will try to harm you if he gets the chance, and because sweetheart I can't think of anything else have you seen Johnny recently maybe you're missing him."she said trying to think of something to help me out.

"Nope I just saw him last night." I said to her.

Then all of a sudden it's like a light bulb went off in her head.

"What, what is it please tell me you figured it out." I said getting excited.

She tried to downplay her emotions "Oh nothing dear I know nothing of the sort. Now let's go back to this rent topic I think the best option is for you to move in with me." Mom said.

I rolled my eyes at her she snapped her fingers at me " hey don't roll your eyes at me young lady." she said scolding me I huffed.

"Yes ma'am." I said.

"Now leave the attitude here at the house cause I'm taking you shopping and it would be a real downer if that little attitude isn't gone by the time we arrive at the boutique now come along." Mom said headed towards her front door.

I got rid of my attitude quickly remembering how much fun we always have when we go shopping and I would hate to ruin our time with each other over something stupid.

"Yes ma'am here I come." I said getting up to join her.

It's been awhile y'all  and I know this was short as shit but that next chappie is gone be long as hell I'm still writing it but hopefully when guys do get to read it it won't be complete shit
