Everything seems fine;
Everything seems good.
Yet it feels like there's a monster,
A monster under my hood.
It won't leave me alone,
It's gnaws at my bones;
The thoughts circle above my head,
Above my head like drones.
"Why does anyone like you?"
"Why does she like you?"
It whispers these in my ear,
To the point that I don't know what's true.
I can't stay above the water,
The monster just tells me lies;
I don't know how anyone does it,
I don't know how anyone survives.
