Chapter 1 continued

"im comeing!rockkit squeaked

The cat that was closest to her hissed and spat at her causeing her to flinch. he clawed at her but he missed and she bit his paw. he realed back and started towards her.Rockkits ears layed back in fear as the strange smelling cat got closer and closser to her.

"Moontear!"

Moontear tor across the feild and attacked the cat with such fury it caused the cat to retreat instantly.

"ROCKKIT! what are you doing out here!" he yowled over the fighting

"i..i..." she stammered

Moontear shook his head and went back to fight, is yowls mixed in with the others.

Rockkit ran farther into the woods tryeing to find the way back to camp,mutch worse awaited her....

"mmrrraawwr! get to the camp take any chance to make them weak!" a guffly voice said.

Rock kit instantly ran the other way in fear. she ran and ran untill she found the camp, she ran inside with fear and everycat looked at her.

"oh dear sweety whats wrong?

"why were you out of camp?"

"why are you breatheing so hevily darling?"

in the distant corner of camp the apprentices looked at her in fear also.

her couzins and brother looked also

"there..Moontear..Cats...HELP!!!" she panted

Yowls sounded as a flood of Shadowclan cats invaded the camp.Scratching and biting.

instantly the warriors revolted and fought with all there might

"this is my fault!" she wispered

a fighting cat stopped to look at her. he was young enough to be a 'paw' he looked newly apprenticed and strong. he didnt take his eyes of her and she didnt take his eyes off of him. Rockkit realized 'what was she doeing?' she hissed at himm right when a older cat scolded him

"Ashpaw!,stop stareing and fight,they are our enimies!!!

"yes Rattail" the young cat said and he leaped off totaly ignoreing her.

She ran to the nursery where her brother hid but a catr was in the way

"oohhh what do i do" she stammered

 she uncautiously lept onto the toms back and sank her sharp baby teeth into his scruff.

he backed away slowwly but painfully and actualy ran off to fight off a thunderclan warrior off his clanmate.

Hawkkit looked at her in amazement. so did the apprentice trio. so did her couzins. so sdid her mother,Cloudwind.

She smiled at them and felt so brave she lept into battle with the other cats. Her mother yelled for her to come back but Rockkit didnt listen.

"I AM A LEADER!" she yowled and landed ontop of the largest tomm in the battle field. EVERYONE was amazed and scared. the tomm shook her off and laughed at her.

she slashed his muzzle leaveing behind a scratch on his face. he screamed and got off of the kit.

she stood up frazzled and shook herself she tyomm instantly hit her on the head and she couldent think.

Ringing sounded everywhere, she stood up but everything was in doubletime, she saw two of everything.

"wha....?" she stammered

she tomm laughed and pinned her down

"i..will not give up!" she weakly spoke.

The tom let go of her and lept into battle again.

everywhere around her cats where fighting, and she was in the middle. she tried to stand up but fell again. she put her paw to her head and looked at it inspecting for blood.Thankfully it wassnt bleeding

she collapsed in the feild and a black pelt took her into their jaws aaand sped towards a den.

Herbs was scented off this cat,"blackleaf? but it didntsmell like Blackleaf. everything closed in on her and nothing but darkness overwhelmed her

But one last thought came to her about who was carrying her...
