All of the ships docked, and then the ship took off. Mol spoke to Leia again. "We have to go as fast as possible. That attack nearly destroyed everyone." Leia replied, "We should arrive out of hyperspace near a New Republic base. There we can re-supply." Mol responded, "Alright. I'll tell the others. In the mean time, I'll fix up some of the ships." Mol headed back to the docks, where all of his squad members were. They started a conversation, one, that Mol felt, was pleasant, considering that none of it involved the battles. "Hey, Mol, what did you do before you joined the Resistance?" Mol froze for a second. He responded, "Mostly, I spent most of my life at a cantina where my dad dumped me off every day. I became really good at one of the games, and that's how I managed to make a living." The pilot asked, "Where's your dad now?" Mol responded, "He's helping people after the battle at Jakku, I assume. The reason he dumped me off at the cantina every day was so he could go off and help others. He is a good man, but sometimes I miss the late night conversations I would have with him when he picked me up. Then, I would sleep in his bed with him."

The com system suddenly turned on, and it said, "Attention troops, we've arrived at a New Republic base, so please fly out to the landing bay." The pilots all got into their ships and flew out. They arrived at the landing bay, and then went into the main building. A gold droid came out to greet him. "Hello there, my name is C-3PO. I will be your guide for the New Republic base. Who would you like to see?" Mol replied, "We need to talk to the leader of this base." C-3PO replied, "Well, we have a commander, his name is Wedge Antilles."
