Maddie was crying, but I could tell that she was fighting the tears.
I have to figure out what's wrong with Maddie.
Girls, here are your assignments. Everyone from the new group will perform a solo.
Emma- Modern Dark
Emilia- Emotional Lyrical
Sasha- Acro/Jazz
Julia- Contemporary/Modern
Lori-Tap
Catherine- Acro
Arielle- Musical Theater/ Jazz
Laura- HipHop
The old team will just have a group dance. I have one duet and that will go to
MADDIE AND CATHERINE
I glanced over at Maddie again, and was expecting her to be overjoyed. But instead, she looked even more miserable.
I don't know what's going on! She never acts like this. I'm afraid that this is going to affect her dancing so I'm going to talk to her.
"Moms, head on upstairs and girls work on your numbers. We only have 4 days till our competition in Ohio." I said. I'm planning to CRUSH those rotten apples."
In the meantime, Maddie, can you meet me at my desk, I want to talk to you.
•Maddie's POV•
"Maddie, can you meet me at my desk, I want to talk to you." Miss Abby said
Oh no! Did she see me crying. I'm going to get in trouble!
I walked up to the front desk and Abby pulled me close.
"What's wrong sweetie?" She whispered.
I just shook my head and ran away.
