It was a rainy day when I decided to walk on the beach, I was a little bored so that was the only thing I could think of doing to distract myself. I dressed up warm and left the house towards the dock, the road was lonely seemed like all the people had left the streets to shelter in their dry safe homes. But as always in my desire for adventure I decided to do the opposite from all the others, the wind was very light, it felt like it accompanied me as if it followed my steps. As I got closer to the shore of the beach I took off my shoes so I could feel the wet sand under my feet. I had already walked for a few minutes, when the rain got more intense, I tried to find shelter and the only place I could find was that ancient majestic but chilling lighthouse that was an icon of the town. I knocked on the door and the old man that had take care of the lighthouse for almost a century open it. I asked him for refuge and with a smile he invited me in. He offered me a towel to dry myself and a cup of delicious aromatic tea, I knew it was delicious because it is my favorite tea and I can recognize that aroma anywhere in the world. He told me that when I was ready he would be waiting for me in the little room that was located at the center of the first level. On the second level was his bedroom it was a really small but cozy room. while I was trying to dry my hair and at the same time observe my surroundings, when I finished I went into the room to taste that delicious tea, the old man was sitting reading a very strange book seemed one of those books of antiquity, he told me that this book was like a manifesto, in it he recorded everything that happened with respect to the lighthouse, that was part of his job. I asked him about the history of the lighthouse of his origins and he answered me with a very kindly smile and began to tell the history of that famous lighthouse. "Everything started in 1884, the town was very small but it was growing little by little, the authorities of the town decided to build the lighthouse to attract the commerce to the coasts of the town, they were all very excited for the construction and helped build the lighthouse. They finished faster than expected, the village chief decided to throw a party to celebrate the inauguration of the colossus. All the people attended that spectacular day, there were fireworks and food stalls, it was a celebration; the village chief had chosen the Durant Family to be responsible for caring and keeping the lighthouse in good condition...
