They Call Me, Fail

          Syria, March 2011, the war has begun. Adnan was not pleased with the decision the country was going to make. The owner was worried as well.
"This is not good, what are we going to do Adnan."
Adnan replied, "I do not know the answer to that father."
Both of them did not know what to do with the decision the country was going to make. The owner decided to teach some lessons to Adnan.
"Adnan, you must be brave and strong, make me proud."
"What do you mean father?" Adnan replied.
The owner could not understand his dog, but he saw him crying in tears like rain.
"It will be alright Adnan," he said, "it will be alright."
The owner hugged him so he will not be sad anymore. Adnan feared that the country would be destroyed, but hoped that his father would be safe.

          The next morning, dark clouds, cool winds, strong lightings, Adnan went out to look for food. The owner warned him.
"Careful Adnan, and return safely."
Adnan barked, "Yes father."
He searched for food for hours, and hours until he found a piece of a lifeless chicken. He ate it as fast as flash. Then he started walking home, until he heard gunshots, bombs, and screaming. Adnan was freaking out.
"What is going on," he screamed, "I'm coming, dad!"
Adnan ran as fast as he could; he saw so many dead bodies, dripping blood, broken bones, and yelling. Twenty minutes later, it was too late. His home was completely destroyed. The house had a lot of dusty air like a sandstorm. Adnan did not see his owner anywhere, so he began to dig with his poor paws. Then Adnan saw a body between bricks and wood; it was his owner. Adnan ran towards his owner, and then he licks his owner.
"Father," he cried, " are you okay?"
The owner coughed, "Adnan, please take care of yourself, and be.... Brave."
Then at the last second, he had passed away. Adnan's owner will always be a beloving memory in his heart. Adnan cried hours, and hours next to the owner's body flesh.
"I will never forget you father...you will always be in my heart."
Adnan realized that he needed to move on, so he went to find shelter.

          Months passed, and Adnan was still in his shelter. He went to some people's homes to ask for some food.
"I'm so hungry, I need food."
He went to the first house to ask for food. He scratches the door to see if anyone is in the house. Then a man opened it and he was really furious.
"Get lost you filthy animal"
He hit him with a shoe, and he almost broke one of Adnan's paws. Then he went to a second house, and then a woman appeared in the door.
"Aww, poor little dog here is a piece of bread."
Adnan barked, "Thanks, lady, you are my lifesaver."
He went to several houses, but all of the humans hated animals, so he got abused a lot of times. He later twisted his paw, and he was not able to walk that much. Adnan was giving up.
"I can not do this anymore," he cried, "I need you father."
Suddenly, a voice was talking to him, and he noticed that it was the owner who was now a ghost.
"Be brave my son...be brave."
Adnan whispered, "Thank you father, I will be strong."
He used his owner's quote to keep moving on to life, and he will never give up. He hopes that a miracle will appear into his life.

          A couple of days later, Adnan was walking like usual.
"What a beautiful day."
Then he sees a kid walking alone on the streets. He sees him in pain and hurt. Tom run towards that poor little kid, and he starts to talk to him.
"Are you ok?"
The kid replied, " I am ok."
"Wait how can you understand me," Adnan complained, "I am just a dog."
"How can you understand me?" Kid replied
Adnan and the kid were confused because they can both understand one another.
"I am Adnan, what is your name?"
"I am Sayid, why are you alone out here, it's too dangerous."
Adnan replied, "I had an owner that took care of me, he was my father, but he died because the house that I lived was destroyed because of war."
"Wow Adnan, that is rough, I am sorry for your loss."
"It's ok, you do not need to apologize."
They both had a long conversation, and then Adnan asked Bob something.
"Can I ask you something,Sayid?"
"What is it Adnan?" he questioned.
"Will you," he cried, "adopt me as your pet?"
Sayid replied, "Yes, I always wanted a pet who understands me."
"Me too," Adnan said.
Sayid became Adnan's new owner, and they had a strong connection.
"Wanna live with me, Adnan."
He replied, "Yes father."
Sayid took Adnan to his house and live happily ever after.
