CHAPTER THREE ~tris POV ~ warning small fourtris scene*winkwink* ;)
Me and tobias walk to the pit, holding hands the whole way. Once we reach the pit tobias releases my hand and walks toward the other people In the audiences and I go sit by Christina and will. Then Eric and max, on of the other dauntless leaders, go up and give a speech about something but I completely zoned out and was staring at tobias and he was staring right back I looked Into his deep blue eyes and I wondered what he was thinking about but them was pulled out of my thought when tobias looked away back at Eric and max " okay so now it's time for the new members to pick there jobs" max says and goes on to list some jobs available then it's time to call the members and calls my name and I walk up to him and eric and he asks me what Job I want and I say " initiate trainer and tatoo artist " he nods " okay" then Eric yells " INITIATE TRAINER AND TATTOO ARTIST' and the crowd starts cheering and Max says I can leave now if I would like to so I go towards the crowd and find tobias. I sit by him he looks at me but doesn't say anything after everyone has picked there jobs it turns out will got one of the dauntless leader trainee jobs and Christina was a initiate trainer like me but worked in the kitchen when there was no initiates. Uriah picked to work In the control room.After me and tobias congratulated our friends, will,uriah,Christina,and a few others me and tobias started walking back towards the apartment. And I realized tobias still hadn't talked to be so I looked up at him, he had his arm around my waist holding me close to him. I was still looking at him but he had his eyes trained on the floor so I asked " tobias, what's wrong " he looks at me for a second but looks back to the ground bitting his check but doesn't answer me but by now we were at the apartment. Tobias drags me in and we and sits down on the couch I sit beside him and he sighs and looks at me and I can tell he's nervous or scared by the way he's asking but what's he nervous or scared about? Them he gets up and gets on one knee in from of me, still sitting in the couch. And he pulls out a little black box and opens it to reveal a ring that has a light almost grayish color diamond in the middle and small black jewels around it it's beautiful. But then. I think he's about to propose wit I mean I know I love tobias but I'm not ready for marriage. He finally speaks up " tris this isn't what you think it's a promise ring tris, I want you to promise me you'll always be here with me and maybe one day we will get married I love you soo much tris prior. Will you accept my promise ring?" I try to hold back but I can I start crying and nodding my head yes and say " yes tobias a million times yes " and he stands up and pulls me off the couch and carefully puts the ring in my finger and his lips crash into mine and his hands go to my hips and mine go up his chest and around his neck Into his hair and tobias pulls me closer and moves me so I'm up against the wall and he lifts me up and I giggle slightly and throw my legs around his waist and kiss him. He kisses back harder his hands still on my hips he pulls back and says " I love you tris" " I love you too " I reply " I love you three " he says back " I love you four" and giggle slightly at what he got me to do he smirks and says " I know" and he starts roughly kissing me again And starts carrying me to his room and shuts the door and throws me on the bed and crawls on top of me and starts kissing me once again and I kiss back . His hands go to my waist just below my shirt and slowly go under till they find bare skin I slightly shiver at his touch. His hand slides up my stomach and around my sides to my back. My hands are on his waist which I'm not sure when they got there. His hands are still at the small of my back pressing me closer and I can feel my body immediantly fill with fear as his hands slide up my back to my bra and start to unsnap. it I gasp and pull away breathing hard and tobias looks at me and pulls away and rolls off of me and says " tris I'm sorry I-i dont know what I was thinking " I cut him off and say " n-no tobias I'm okay it's fine I just got scared that's all" I can tell by the way he looks at me he doesn't believe me he rolls over so his back is facing me. " tobias, im cold" he sighs and says " well want do you wan t me to do about it" he doesn't get the hint I want him to hold me in his warm embrace and cuddle with me so I say " Toby will you hold me instead " he rolls over to face me and wraps his big,strong arms around me and I feel safe with him I bury my face in his neck and the last thing I hear before sleep takes me is"I'm sorry tris, I love you"
