Poison.

Rushing blood
Cold laughs
Warm smiles
All before it's too late to cry
Your heart swells with silliness once they enunciate your name
Yet the swelling is just a poison practicing to be sweet
Because the poison was decieved as well
Because the poison is a steroid
Slowly taking away life while it was believed that life just started
The only pureness you get is unconditional love
The one who brought you into this world
The one who saw you grow up
The ones you grew up with
Not a toxic human instinct
Romance is the definition of delusional beliefs
Almost as if you're on a rollercoaster
But the seat belt is never clipped
Poison is the reason you're crying rust rather than liquid gold
Unintentional suicide
All the substances your mom warned you about
Brewed into one
The more tingling you feel
The faster you're being killed
Some take little sips at a time
And slowly discover addiction
Spices of beauty
Pinch of trickery
Glance of purity
Unwanted cruelty
But hypocrisy isn't attractive
I have a bottle of poison on the shelf too
And I'm begging to drink it
