Arnav paced in his Office like a caged animal pondering over the happenings of recent days. Yes, he got married to Khushi against her will, to save the marriage of his sister. He gripped the report in hand that was handed to him by Aman few minutes back. Skimming through it gave him a clear picture of real Shyam that he always hid successfully behind the mask of deceiving smile. His illegal activities and association with the criminals, the women he had played before, and the families that he had destroyed. Things he had done for money, and the life he lead outside Shantivan. Arnav felt ashamed of himself for not being able to sense the betrayal behind his Jeeju's sweet talks. Past one week had been a emotional roller coaster for Arnav Singh Raizada. His realization of his feelings for Khushi on Akash's marriage day, and the shattering truth of betrayal of his beloved jeejaji shyam and the love of life Khushi. The news of him becoming an uncle, and the decision to marry Khushi to save Di's marriage, if only till Di's delivery. But Khushi is giving him a hard time, by being too stubborn to be tamed. Her little stunts on running away on pagphere rasam, and then the challenge she gave him believing that Akash will never leave her Jiji's side, given that they are married now. But who was she kidding, ASR will always have his ways with achieving what he wants. He writes his own destiny.Defeated, she had to come back to Shantivan to save her sister's marriage.

Now she is keeping a low profile, that doesn't mean she won't retaliate again in some time, and he don't have time for that. He need her under control till Di's delivery. Nothing should go wrong. He knows that he have to reveal shyam's truth one way or another to Di, after making sure she is healthy after her delivery. He can't trust Shyam with his sister for too long. By then he have to collect proof to expose Shyam's true self.

But then Arnav couldn't stop himself from thinking - After everything is said and done, what will be his state in future? His Di will be destroyed emotionally,and hopefully her child will become her anchor to go on with the life. Her child have to become her light to move on with the life. But, what about Shyam and Khushi? Even though Shyam is an evil mind, he still have not committed a grave crime strong enough to buy himself a life sentence in Prison. He may get imprisoned for a couple f years and be released. After the 6 months contract marriage Khushi will also be free out of his hold, and she will go back to Shyam to complete their love story. Leading a happy life, when he and his Di writhe in the agonizing pain of their betrayal. Torn apart by the mere thought of it send him overboard with blind fury, ending up smashing the glass table with his bare fist.Tears pricking his eyes.

"ASR?", A knock on the door brought Arnav back to present. "Come in Aman" he gritted out.

Aman who came running to Arnav's cubicle on hearing the cashing sound, was not surprised to see the broken table. But the blood dripping out of Arnav's tight clenched fist alerted him. "ASR I will get the fist aid box", he suggested hesitantly. First confusion, and then realization crossed the great ASR's face on seeing the now blood clad carpet on the office floor, which was not so kindly contributed by his bleeding hand. A curt node from Arnav soothed the crease lines from Aman's forhead, as he went to fetch the first aid box. Soon Arnav was sitting in his penthouse that's located at the top floor of AR designs, with his right hand encased in the band aid. It sting a little, but didn't bother him much. Aman left Arnav in the penthouse few minutes back, after completing the dressing of his self inflicted wound. Years of working for ASR have given few hints to Aman on what is best for both of them at certain times. He definitely don't want to be at the receiving end of ASR's unleashed wrath.
