Chapter 7 Jeff's pov

 I hugged Layla so hard her skin turned red. Ben was angry but I hoped she was ok so me bumping him out the way was rude but I want to see her. I thought she died in my arms but she didn't she was alive. Her head hurt a lot but that because she got beat in the head with a bat. I guess Ben was there to protect her from me. I know he likes her cause even though he don't say it, he talks about her a lot. She hugged me back I guess she was happy we both were ok. Ben stormed out the room and Layla followed him. She came back crying and hugged me. This was the first time she ever cried. I found Ben and punched him. I yell out to him what was his problem. He told me to not talk to him again but, I need to know. I shoved him and asked him again. Layla comes from behind me yelling. Ben ran away for some reason, I looked behind me so was holding a glass of water. I knew that it was Ben's weakness. I asked her what happened and she said that Ben punched her. She also said to go with her boyfriend Jeff. I had a blank look on my face as she said that. I made Ben mad at her I had to patch things up.
