The best has yet to come

High School is over

        It's the last day of senior year and it's the day everyone has been waiting for... Graduation. Oh my gosh I don't know how I finally got to this point in my life although there's one problem that I can't let go... It's um.. My boyfriend Damon.  We've been together since sophomore year and he's just has his own unique way of expressing his feelings to me.. well cheating on me and slapping me a little to hard on the butt sometimes.. I mean well I know he loves me deep down and he really regret cheating on me so I had to give him another chance.. I love him to death, but what am I going to do when I go to college.. Am I going to keep him by my side or finally tell him it's time to see other people. Well.. It's time to graduate, See ya later. 

      It's 3:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday and everyone is lined in the hallway dressed in their decorated caps and matching gowns. All the friends and family of the soon to be graduates are sitting down in the auditorium awaiting the graduates. 

     My name is Emily i'm 19 years old. I'm 5'1" I have medium length brunette hair, and eyes as blue as the sea. I can not wait to graduate I'm so excited to start college in the fall.. Oh here comes Damon. Damon's my boyfriend of 2 years. He's 5'10", he has blue eyes and he always wears this ridiculous black leather jacket.. but he's my life.. I haven't had a chance to be with anyone else, but he's the only one I'd ever want to be with. 

   Damon walks over and rests his arms around her and spanks her butt a little. "Seriously Damon, we're getting to graduate and you have to be stupid like always right?" He looks in her eyes and he looks drunk. "Oh my god, you have got to be kidding me seriously?" Emily walks away and Damon just shrugs and waits for the ceremony to begin. Brittney, Emily's best friend is just sitting down nervous to graduate. "Hey Britt.." Emily sits next to her. "Oh hey, so are you ready to graduate." She turns around to talk to Emily. "Yeah, I just don't know about Damon and I anymore, I mean seriously he's drunk... He doesn't know how to stop acting like a 5 year old.. the sad thing is that he's going to the same college so I'll never be able to get away from him.. I think it's time to let go though." Brittney hugs her before everyone lines up to start walking in. "Letting go is the best thing you could do, you deserve so much better and besides you have me for life.. but right now LETS GRADUATE!" Everyone walks into the room and after everyone gives their speeches like all move the tassels on their caps to the opposite sides. Emily looks at Brittney and they both scream "WE DID IT!" Emily then looks at Damon and he looks back and she just turns back around and smiles to her mom.

      Damon meets up with Emily as they all leave the stage. "Hey can we talk please." Emily looks at him as his eyes are finally back to normal. "Sure.." They both walk to hallway while everyone else is just talking in the cafeteria enjoy beverages and snacks. Emily and Damon sit on the floor. "So what do you want?" Damon grabs her hand and holds it. "I'm sorry okay? I'm sorry I've been a jerk to you.. I just I don't wanna lose you babe. You're all I've had and cheating on you that one time was a mistake." Emily holds his hand back. "I know.. I'm just glad you finally realized you're wrong and need to grow up." They both stand up and he hugs her while resting his chin on the top of her head." They all go home that night and finally their last summer before summer vacation begins.
