I'm sorry I'm putting you in this book. I kind of hope you don't get mad because we are still friends and I don't want you to take anything I say to heart. So let's begin, shall we?
I honestly still believe in you. You told me the timing was wrong, and we rushed, but you haven't told me you don't love me, and I'm hoping you know I love you too.
To address your fear of hurting me, yes, you have before. I say it all the time, but the only way you can hurt me the most is by leaving. Love is pain without the leaving part, and one day maybe we can accept what our problems are and put them away. Not only for the sake of clarity, but so that when we look at each other we can say safely that even though we've had problems, we can still believe wholeheartedly that there's a love we can't lose.
I don't think you will read this, but if you do, don't forget me. God, please don't forget me. You mean a lot to me and losing you forever is something I can't imagine. However, if I'm not for you, I will understand. I will try my best to be whatever you need.
