Lindsay - Main Character, 15 years old, has a younger sister and is adopted by her father, plays soccer basketball and sometimes track over the summer she sometimes does field hockey. Loves dogs & horses (basically all animals).
Brent - Guy Lindsay falls for. 15 years old, plays football, basketball, baseball, and sometimes track. Loves dogs, an only child.
Sarah - Lindsay's younger sister, 12 years old. plays field hockey, and basketball sometimes.
Emily - Lindsay's closest friend for a very long time. 15 years old, plays soccer, basketball, and track. Only Child and loves animals

Lindsay's House - Lives in South Carolina has always lived there but has had to move houses 3 times.
Spring Valley High School - This is the school that she is in now and where most of the story takes place in the first parts of the book.
Brent's House - Lives in South Carolina lives a block away from Lindsay
