Chapter 4. The paint ball Dilemma

Tasha POV

I made chicken roast with vegetables. We discussed my job and how each other were holding up. My big brother Shezz was helping build new stadiums all over the globe. He worked with the Fiasco boys. Roi, my little brother was still in school. He was worried about my dad. He left us when i was 7. Recently we all started getting letters from him. It was nothing too major, just hellos. Mum was in the business. She is currently managing the circus. Seeing as it was off season for us doesn't mean it is off season for all.

Skyler POV

I wore these navy blue / black baggy pants made from soft warm material, it was tight around the hips and knees down but baggy up top, i wore a batman full sleeve, my hair is messy with curls everywhere. I wore Blay blay's black vans. Nova wore her purple hair in a ponytail, grey versions of my pants, a owl top and her converse. I knocked on he door for the guys house and surely enough Matt answered the door.

"Wow, you guys look great! Why?" I ask them. They looked like they were about to model for a magazine. 

"We are going out? Better look good?" Hayes said unsure. I laughed with Nova and we walked to our cars. Nova drove us to the paintball place. We arrived, our car was playing loud Jason Derulo and Micheal Jackson songs, while the boy decided on some there music choices. The battle field was built on a tall mountain, you could see an amazing view of the town, city and beaches. We walked as a group to the paintball instructor, there was minimal light, in fact it was darkish now, the sun was setting fast. The sunrise looked beautiful over the orange sea. The building was all military looking and there was cages all around. The instructor told us to form groups. It was Hayes, Cam and I versus Nova, Matt and Carter. They gave us some camo jumpsuits. Our team was dark blue jumpsuits and the other was deep red. We got our paintball guns an started playing around with them. They took one team around to the east entrance and the there team to the west entrance to the battle field. I took charge as i was the only girl. I took some blue paint and places stripe on m cheeks, Cam added some blue paint to his hands and some round his eye, Hayes t it to the next level and covered half his face in the paint. I had come here before with Nova many times but never playing against her. 

Nova POV

I took my team to the west entrance. I placed red paint on my forehead. Carter placed some all over his face, completely red. Matt placed some on his eyebrows and some to make a moustache. I remember we always do that, our house is a messed up place. We took ur guns and got ready. The battle ground was like a maze, it was all this dark rusty metal fencing with extra metal parts where the fence was weak. There were shelves and random barrels or boxes to hide behind. There are narrow passages where only one person could only just squeeze trough and some large ones where you could fit 2 cars parked together in and still have room. I loved this place, so did Skyler. This is our kingdom.  There was a courtyard where the was open fire, also it had hide alleyways, underground areas too. This place was made to be like a post apocalyptic playground or something, you could fine swings or slides some places. It even had flashing false lights, it was amazing. 

*SIREN*

All POV

The siren went off the doors opened and we all sprinted out. Loud Techno music played. It felt intense and intimidating.

Nova POV

i started to hunt for them instantly, i followed down a narrow path leading to the courtyard, i was going in fast. I took out my gun and and was alert.

Matt POV

This shit was scary, i ran down some narrow corridors, the light flashed and went out. It was pitch black. I couldn't see anything. I trusted the moonlight to come help me but it was a bit cloudy. I decided to just stay here for a bit.  Something took my helmet, probably just apart of the game?
