When I woke up I had a stiff neck from the way I slept. I sit up and see my 'partner in crime' I think I'll call them that from now on, eating some blueberries that they found on some bushes. I walk over to them and sit down, taking a handful and starting to eat, Wow these taste great! I think to myself as I shove more of them into my mouth, staining my lips purple in the process.
"Ha! that looks funny!" they exclaim giggling to themselves
" You don't have any room to talk! Look at your hair!" I say gesturing to their hair which was sticking up in every direction.
"Hey!" they giggle smoothing their hair down as we both started giggling uncontrollably, falling on top of each other as laughter takes over us.
When we stop laughing we are both gasping of air and holding our stomaches.
"Oh god, why was that so funny?" I question still breathing heavy.
"I have no idea!" they exclaim closing their eyes, taking a deep breath and sighing.
We get up from the tall patch of grass and start walking again. As we walked I noticed that there were a lot of really beautiful flowers around us, growing on bushes and across the ground some even spiraling up the tree trunks.
"Look at the flowers." I say pointing "Their beautiful!"
"Yeah, definitely!" they reply picking a rose from a bush. "They smell even better." they say with a deep inhale of the flower.
"Oh, look! Honeysuckle! My favorite!" I yell, but not too loud, running over to the giant bush and picking a few and sucking the tiny bit of nectar inside into my mouth. They walk up behind me and take a few as well,
"I've missed these things." they say
"Yeah, me too. I'm so happy we're free." I reply eating more honeysuckle. Their eyes sparkled as they smiled at me.
"This is amazing I'm so happy that I'm here with you." they say giving me an even bigger bear hug than I had given them earlier.
"Me too." I say softly wrapping my arms around them and spinning around with them in my arms,
"I love you." they say pulling me into an embrace.
"I love you too."
