Phan One Shots

You are my sunshine (Phan)

The sound of rain pours outside echoing off the glass of the window as the fire blazes in the apartment lounge. It was a cold Saturday night. The perfect night to stay in.

Phil stares at his reflection through the window as a million thoughts cross his crowded mind.

"Dan?"

"Huh?" Dan looks up from his phone to meet Phils blue eyes.

"Do you think I'm worthless?"

Dan's expression turns confused. Why would Phil even think to ask such a question? It put a large pain on Dan's chest, like he'd been struck with a metal dagger.

"Of course not Phil, why would you ask that?" Dan puts his phone down and turns serious as Phil turns around in his chair, face to face with Dan.

"I feel like I'm not supplying enough for the world. All I do is sit in my room making videos. What kind of talent is that?"

Sadness spreads in the rooms as Dan recognizes Phils self pity.

"Come here." Dan stands up front the sofa and grabs Phils hand, pulling both Phil and him to the ground in front of the fireplace.

They both hold their knees in their arms as they stare off into the crackling fire.

"You are good for this world Lester. We'd be doomed without you.

Phil continues to stare into the depths of the fire. His eyes growing teary.

"Hey Philip. Look at me." Dan takes Phils chin in his hands and moves it towards him.

Phil stares at Dan's chocolate eyes and his heart beats a bit faster.

"I would be nothing without you. Nothing." A tear rolls down Dan's cheek as Phil looks at Dan's lips waiting for the perfect moment to crash into them. That perfect moment was now. Phil placed his hands on each side of Dan cheeks and puts his soft lips on Dan's. The only noise was the rain and the crackling of fire.

"I love you so much." Phil whispers unable to speak.

"I love you more."

Dan rests his head on Phil's shoulder and puts an arm around him as Phil stares off into the fire.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine" Dan whispers.

You make me happy when skies are grey

You'll never know dear how much I love you

So please don't take my sunshine away.
