Maksim "Maks" Chmerkovskiy

Abby Lee Miller Night

    Maks and I were rehearsing earlier than everyone for our dances with Val and Zendaya. When all the sudden we heard.

Abby: (yells) I am here!

Me: (quitetly) The Wicked witch of the west is here.

      Zendaya, Val, and Maksy all laugh at my joke. Abby walks onto the dance floor.

Abby: Hi guys show me your dance.

        Maks and Val look at each other smirking. The two Chmerkovskiy's have a little idea plotting between the two. Val grabs Zendaya while Maks grabs me. We are in starting position when Maks and Val drag us backstage.

Maks: (laughing backstage) I hate her so much this time it's not the Russian in me it's just me.

Val: Same. She's just going to have to wait like everyone else.

Me: I knew the look (point guard to Maks and val) between you two (stops pointing) somethig was being planed.

           ~After dancing out Ramba~

Tom: Okay Bruno you first.

Bruno: It was amazing. The passion, the story. Just plain amazing.

Tom: Carrie Ann

Carrie Ann: I totally agree with Bruno the story you two told was awesome.

Tom: Len

Len: I thought it was simply amazing I have nothing more to say.

Tom: Abby.

Abby: Okay (to audience) shut up I have a lot to say. Maks I would never hit you. Besides that Leeah when you were on the ground and you cradled your feet went on top of each other I know you have been ice skating for a while, but next time you do something contemporary make sure you don't sickle you feet.

        I put my hand on Maks back and rub circles to claim him down. When I look at Maks he is biting his cheek and looking away.

Tom: Okay go on and head up to the skybox.

          As we are on our way to the skybox Maks is shaking his head.

Me: (heading up the stairs) Maks it's fine.

Maks:(beside me)(deep sigh)

          We make it up to the skybox and everyone hugs us and tells us we did great. We go stand over by Erin for our interview and scores.

Erin: So Maks Leeah called you a teddy bear, do you feel like a teddy bear with that sickle feet comment. I don't even know what that means I'm not a dancer.

Maks: (feed up/frustrated) I really don't care for anything that she has to say.

       When Maks says that everyone behind us claps because they agree.

Erin: Well let's get your scores.

Carrie Ann: 10

Len: 10

Bruno:10

Abby: 6

           When Abby showed her score everyone and I mean everyone was shocked. Including Carrie Ann, Len, and Bruno, and all the pros and audience.

Maks:(quietly) Whatever I don't care any more.

       The audience and pros and stars are all yelling at Abby.

            ~After our group dance~

Abby: On the girls chennai turns the arms went out a little to far.

Val: It's a chennai turn, like they don't do this for a living, like they did that just for you.

Abby: Well that's not ABBY LEE MILLER DANCE COMPANY quality.

Val: And this show is not something so you can feed your ego.

         Maks and I are laughing at the situation.

Tom: Okay settle down.

         We all make our way to the skybox.

Erin: Okay let's just get to the scores.

Carrie Ann: 9

Len: 10

Bruno: 10

Abby: 6

          Everyone in the skybox shakes their heads.

Maks: I'm tired of this I'm done.

      Maks walks away from the screen.

Me: (running after Maks) Maks wait!!!

       I catch up to him behind the curtains.

Me: (grabs Maks wrist and try to turn him around) Maks.

          Maks keeps walking.

Me: (soft voice) Maksim please.

         That makes Maks stop walking. I walk so I'm in front of him.

Me:(soft voice) What's wrong?

Maks: I failed you. I failed Val and Zendaya. I've failed everyone. (hangs his head).

Me: (picks up Maks head) Hey you have failed no one. Now why are you really upset.

Maks: I'm afraid I embarrassed you on TV. Plus I don't want you to be mad at me for how I acted.

Me: Maks I'm not mad at you nor am I embarrassed.  Maks you are the most perfect man I could think of.

Maks: I'm sorry for my behavior, but please don't make me say sorry to Abby.

Me: Trust me I wont.

       Maks picks me up in a hug and spins around. He puts me down after three spins.

Maks: Come on let's go cheer on the others.

       ~After the show on the press line~

     One the press line Maks and I are in front of Abby. Maks is behind me with his arms around me.

Interviewer: So what was it like to have Abby as a quest judge?

Me: Different she definitely brought out a side if Maks we haven't seen in a while.

       I look behind me at Maks and I can tell he isn't paying attention.  Maks is trying to pay attention to Abby. I subconsciously start rubbing Maks' hands and arms. Just trying to calm him down from what she is saying, and to get him back with our interview.

Interviewer: So Maks how did you like Abby tonight?

Maks: No comment.

       Since I was pressed up against Maks I can feel his shirt move when ever he does. I feel Maks shirt move but he has not. Maks and I look back and Abby I'd wiping her mouth on Maks shirt.

Maksim: Really? Was that really necessary?
