"Look at them" the voice whispered harshly in Tommy's ear.."w-what" Tommy whispered to himself
"You could've been exactly like them if you didn't mess it up like you always do"
Tommy sucked in the oxygen around him.. this wasn't new to him, Tommy knew that the other kids don't have voices in their heads..
Tommy got up and started to walk
"don't you ever wonder what it'd be like if you-"
Tommy quickly reached for his earpiece and started to play music.. blocking the venomous voices "not today ( ;-) git it sorry lol ) "
Tommy began walking around.. enjoying the beautiful scenery and before he knew it..it was time to go home.. He quickly turned around and headed home
"I'm home" Tommy breathes out.. walking straight to his room.As Tommy took off his coat he heard the door suddenly open
"did you not hear me" Tommy's mother scolds
"No I'm sorry" Tommy says taking off his earpiece
"You and those earpiece" Tommy's mother walked up to him and looked at him dead in the eye. "Give me your phone and earpiece"
Tommy stood there frozen in time but his mother's glare became more fearsome by the second..once he snapped out of it he quickly apologised and gave it to her
"Get ready for tomorrow" Tommy's mother said as she exited the room
Anxiety hit Tommy like a train as he realised that he was going to a new school.. new surroundings.. new teachers.. new people and the worst part a new beginning. Tommy didn't dislike his other school but he didn't necessarily love it however Tommy had gotten so comfortable with how things were he never thought of a new start.
"I can't wait for you to mess up this one like you did with the last one" the voice laughed
