The morning sun peaks through the thick trees above me. Giving me enough sunlight and enough shade. The lush green and brown forest surrounds me as I sit up in an upright position. I stretch letting my bones crack. My silver and black hair falls in my face and covers my weirdly colored eye.

This was my normal wake up routine. Get up, stretch, and realize you don't have a mate. What do I mean by that? Well, um a werewolf living alone in the forest. All of my "destined to be mates" rejected me as soon as they saw my purple eye. It wasn't my fault I was born this way. But they didn't care.

I stand up fully dusting myself off. You pick up dirt when you sleep on the ground. I start to wonder around a bit. I found this place last night, but never got the chance to explore. I had my handcrafted scythe on my back. It was made of a special sea metal and decorated in amethysts. They were my favorite colors.

A shuffle from behind me made me whirl around. I had a hand on my scythe in case I had to fight. Everything was still behind me. I continue walking with caution. It is possible that I wondered into another wolves territory. By when have I not?

I duck as a blur jumps over me. I look up and see a grey wolf turning around and growling at me. I take my scythe out fully and get ready to fight. It charges at me but I swipe upward with my scythe sending it flying behind me.

"Stand down and you won't get hurt." I day to it. It gets up again, but it's stomach was bleeding. I got ready for the second charge. I was going to make the first move when I smelt something in the air. It was sickly sweet. This smell was all to familiar. Another wolf came out from the bushes. This one was brown with white socks. He barked at the other wolf telling him to back down. He transformed back into his human form.

"Mine." He said coming towards me. Yup, he's another mate that is going to reject me.

"I don't belong to you. I belong to myself." I say holding my scythe up at him. He continues to walk forward forcing me to take a step back.

"You are my mate. Therefore, you do belong to me." He said still coming closer.

"Just because I'm your mate doesn't mean I belong to you. You could easily reject me." I say backing up more. I suddenly hit a tree. (How did I not see that coming?)

"Sir, I think she's the Born Rouge." The other wild said already transformed back to a human. I look at my 'mate' and see that the fascination in his eyes grew. He was now right in front of me, inches from my face.

"Back up. I don't want anything to do with you." I say trying to push him away. He knocks my scythe out of my hand and pins me to the tree. Next thing I know my hands are cuffed behind my back.

"You are my mate. You are coming with me." He said in an ordering tone. I was going to fight back when he pinched my pressure point. I passed out in his arms. When I woke up again, I was laying down in a large bed. I was cuffed to the bed not allowing me to get up. I try to pull at the cuffs, but I couldn't break them.

"That won't work Babe." I hear a familiar voice. I turn and see my 'mate' leaning in the doorway with a tray of food.

"Don't call me babe and release me at once." I say as he comes over to me. He simply sits on the bed and puts the tray in between us. The tray had eggs, bacon, and waffles. Not to mention it smelt delicious. I didn't notice that I licked my lips.

"Say 'ahhh'" He said scooping up some of the eggs. I glare at him. I don't want to, but I'm starving. I reluctantly open my mouth so he can put the food in. I chew in silence as he looks at me.

"Yes?" I ask him.

"You really shouldn't talk to your Aloha like he's an omega." He says with a grin on his face. I had a feeling he was the Alpha. I scoff.

"I don't have an alpha. He died along with my entire pack.." I say swallowing my food. He once again feeds me a spoonful of food and I eat it quietly. He once again stares at me. He seems like one of the nice alphas. But something feels off about him. This is only the shell of who he really is.
