I groaned as I rolled onto my back. I must have slept for awhile, I felt so stiff. Opening my eyes, I took in my surroundings. Only thing was, I was expecting my calm blue room that I'm always in. Instead I saw something that completely confused me. Around me was an enormous forest that stretched farther than I could see. It was dark and cold and I didn't understand what had happened for me to end up here.

I slowly stood up and started to walk around the unfamiliar area. I could only make out the outlines of things and it was somewhat frightening. I honestly was never a fan of the dark, and being alone in a mystery forest wasn't a seemingly fun thing either.

'I have to find a place to stay until I can get back home.' I thought as I looked around me. I started walking through the trees, deciding it was better than just sitting on the cold ground for ages.

What could possibly be going on? My best bet right then was that this is all a dream I'll be waking up soon. At least, that's silently what I had been hoping for. The last think I could remember before waking up in the forest was gripping the book. Could the story book have anything to do with it? Nothing right now is making any sense, so it could possibly be an option.

I was cut out of my thoughts when I encountered a small cottage. The outside walls were a pale pink color, with the paint slightly peeled. There were bushes and a couple of trees around it that looked lively, as if someone watered them just moments ago. The building itself looked run down, but considering my options were the cottage or the floor I decided to go inside.

"Hello, is anyone in here?" The inside of the cottage looked lived in and as I walked through it, I felt as if I was intruding. There was no one in there that I could see though, so I kept walking until I reached a brown door. I opened it slow, making sure I didn't make a sound. The feeling of intruding raised to an extremely high level as I fully opened the door.

Inside lay an old lady. She was not moving and I felt myself start to panic. I ran over to her bed and checked her pulse, feeling nothing. She was already dead. Looking out the window I saw a shadow running away into the surrounding forest.

I'm so sorry that no one has uploaded in forever. There's no excuse for me and I don't know what Maya's and Angela's excuses are, but i'll try to upload more. I'm ashamed to admit that I want to write another story even though i'm writing like two stories right now. It always happens. I just get ideas for a story randomly and then I start wanting to write it even though I have other stories to write. So, I'm sorry and I will try not to wirte any MORE stories.
