chapter thirty one

THIRD PERSON POV:

"Ow, ow, ow! damnit, that hurt!" Suji groaned in pain when Hoseok patted her with some medicine cream on her injuries.

"That's what you deserved for going out without my permission." Seokjin said as he arrives the scene along with Namjoon with his side.

"So called getting some 'fresh air' " Namjoon huffed.

"Shut up, Joon."

"Where were you going anywhere, Suji? How come you would go to this high road?" Hoseok asked, worried as he was wrapping her arm with a bandage.

Suji's eyes widened a little and didn't answer Hoseok's question with her head lay low.

"Yeah, the donut shop is not at the highway at all. It's on the opposite side of the road, you're going." Seokjin snapped.

"I was getting something from my apartment." Suji lied, still with her head low.

"Were you following Yoongi?"

All of them looked at Jimin who was clenching his hands. Suji's eyes widened then her face turned into an annoyed.

"Following Yoongi?" Hoseok asked. "Why?"

"That's none of your business." Suji mumbled.

"Is it because of the-" Taehyung got trailed off when Suji stood up from the ground, looking like she want to strangle people around her.

"Would you stop about the kiss incident?! It's just a stupid kiss from some bastard I danced! And since when do you even care about m-"

"Because I'm your partner, Partners care for each other-"

"Well, stop it. It's fucking annoying, Taehyung. You don't know what I'm going through right now."

Suji was about to left the others but Jimin stopped her by grabbing her arm, tightly with his eyes teary.

"Don't go." He whispered.

Suji sighed and she slowly yanked off her arm his grip. "I have no choice."

"So, you're just gonna chase that jackass so you could be a hero for capturing some stupid psychopath?!"

Suji stopped when she heard the words that came out from Jimin's mouth.

"Jackass? Who do you mean about that, Jiminnie?" Seokjin asked, confused.

Jimin was still holding back his tears of fear with his hands clenching tightly. The others seems confused by the mochi's reaction.

"You don't need to chase after him, Suji. I think it's better for us to give up on this case! We won't catch him anyway!" Jimin shouted.

"Give up?! We've been through a lot and you're just saying we should let it go like how fart came out from our asses?!" Namjoon spat.

"Yeah, it's better for us to give up the case than chasing that psycho!"

"We're almost there, Jimin. We're gonna catch that killer. Soon." Hoseok said.

"Why are you guys are so desperate on chasing after that guy!? Why can't we have a normal life?!" Jimin screamed.

"This is part of our job! We have given this case and we're gonna end it well. No matter what." Taehyung said.

"And you're nothing but blocking our way on catching him, Jimin." Seokjin spat.

"W-what??"

"I think it's better for you to get out from this case and the team. You're nothing but pain in the ass." Seokjin said his final words before he left them.
