After my never ending science class ended we heard the bell and all the students fled into the halls. I took my time packing up my books and throwing my backpack over my shoulder before making my way to the cafeteria.
As I got my lunch I saw Cora walk over to the most popular group of girls in the school, oh no! These girls where bad news and I actually think I might like Cora a little. Even if I didn't I don't want anyone getting mixed into that crowd. These girls were ruthless. Getting whatever they wanted whenever they wanted using either there looks, or money. They spent every day judging the whole school, and the nights getting drunk and hooking up with random guys who they will probably never see again.
I walked over to the table looking at Cora and signaling to come and sit with me and my friends instead. But of course Amanda, The leader of there group and most popular girl in our school had to intervene. "What do you want Dolan?" She huffed, "Does someone have a crush on the new girl?" Me and Amanda Dated last year until I found out that she was constantly cheating on my and I ended it. Ever since then our groups haven't gotten along, apparently I broke her heart. Well she broke mine, I was heartbroken for weeks and to make things worse it seemed as if she didn't care. Instead she took the next opportunity to hit on my TWIN brother.
Finally Cora broke the silence
"I'd love to sit with you Gray" she said quietly.
CORA P.O.V

The awkward silence seemed to drag on forever as Grayson searched for the words to find. I felt bad for the poor kid, he was just trying to be nice. And plus, these girls didn't seem like they would be my friends. "I'd love to sit with you Gray" I said and swiftly picked up my tray and stood next to him. "So were too?" I asked and giggled. Me and Grayson then walked off to his table as I heard quiet scoffs behind me. "Jealous hoes" I thought to myself. "True" Grayson laughed
"Oh so you can read my mind now?" asked. "you said that out loud" Grayson said now almost in tears he was laughing so hard. "whatever Dolan" I Snickered and we had made it to his table.
" So these are my friends... Cameron, Archie, Jack, Nash, Justin, and finally, my twin brother Ethan!" I waved as I heard a mixture of hello's and random comments.
"I didn't know you had a twin" I whispered to Grayson as I sat down. We spent the Rest of the period laughing and getting to know each other. I guess this year isn't gonna be as awful as I thought it was gonna be!
