Chapter 1 - New beginnings and an old memory

Chapter 1- New beginnings and an old memory-

I struggled to open my eyes as my eyelids felt as if they weigh a thousand pounds. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair was a tangled mess and I had eyebags and dark under eye circles.

I brushed my teeth and headed in the shower. I used my strawberry scented shampoo which smelled so delicious I felt like eating it.

I got out of the bathroom in only a towel and dried myself. I decided that I'm just gonna wear some black skinny jeans and an oversized sweater that said 'Da eff' with my black converse.

After putting on my clothes, I put on mascara,eyeliner,concealer and my EOS cherry lipbalm. I didn't bother to tie my hair cause I'm feeling lazy as hell. As I grabed my bag pack, the sweet delicious smell of pancakes hit my nose. I quickly ran down the flight of stairs and sat my butt down on the dining table.

On the table were fluffy chocolate chip pancakes with syrup. I licked my lips and started to eat like there's no tomorrow.

"Huh you eat like a pig Marilyn!" my brother, Kyle snorted. I gave him my middle finger and finished off my pancakes.

I drank my orange juice and kissed my mum goodbye. "Have fun at your new school honey!" mom shouted as I waved goodbye and ran to Kyle's car. He was going to send me off to my new school, Queensville High because we are gonna be schooling there together.

Kyle parked his car in the school parking lot. I got out of the car and looked at the building.

Hm not bad.

The school was huge and it has a modern look to it.

The bell rang meaning that it was time to get to class. I went to the office and asked the lady there for my schedule. "Oh, are you Marilyn Marie Fegan?" the lady asked. "Yep, im new here-" Suddenly a hot guy with black hair, hazel eyes and dayum muscular body, barged into the office looking frustrated. He said he nearly got into an accident.
aww poor him.
He noticed that I was staring at him and smirked. "Enjoying your view, babe?" he teased. I jump a little and rolled my eyes at him. The lady finally gave me my schedule and she ordered the hot guy to be my guide. He grinned and walked out of the office. "So, my name is Ash Matthews." he said. "Im Marilyn Fegan." I said then smiled. We walked to our first class which was Math.
eurrghhh math i hate math

When we walked into class, everyone looked at us as if we've killed 20 people. The female teacher turned her attention to us and asked why we were late. "I was caught in traffic, Mrs Jenkinson." Ash lied. I just stood there. "Ahhhhh you must be the new student. Come come introduce yourself." Mrs Jenkinson gestured to me and told Ash to sit at his table. "Hey my name is Marilyn Fegan and I love food." Mrs Jenkinson smiled and pointed to an empty table beside a girl who wore cute nerdy glasses and actually covered her skin. She smiled at me as I sat down. She let out her hand and said "Hi I'm Flora Rowins. Nice to meet ya!" "Nice to meet you too" I shook her hand. Flora was really gorgeous. She was wearing a beige knee long dress that had floral prints to it with black tights and a black cardigan with black chunky heels. She had black hair and dyed the ends blonde so it looked a bit like an ombre. She had a petite body and her voice wasn't as squeaky and girly as I thought it would be.

After Math ended it was time for Biology. When I walked in to class my jaw dropped when I saw a boy with jet black hair with light blue eyes. I ran to him when he noticed me. "OMGOMGOMG" I squealed, unable to contain my happiness. It was Trevor Holt, he was my best friend and cousin since like ever! I havent met him in years and now he is hot as eff.
Trevor smiled at me and asked "So, why did you get out from Avalon High?" "Uhm you remember Nick right? I saw him making out with my enemy Veronica, and he wasn't even drunk. He embarassed me in front of the whole school, telling them that I was stupid to be one of his victims... I knew he was a player but I thought I could change him." I replied, my eyes were starting to get teary. He hugged me and tried to soothe me. We both pulled away just as the bell rang. I sat beside him being thankful that I have an understanding family. Well, this is a new school, a new neighbourhood and a new chapter in my messed up life.
