"Celeste wake up" I heard my mom whisper I felt a soft flicker sparking my heart when I hear my Mom's soft, sweet welcoming tone, it always made me feel safe ever since I came out of the womb. I glared at mom who was by the bed practically waiting for me to get up. "Good morning mom" I grumbled my voice thick with sleep "honey today is gonna be your first day at your new school,You don't want to be late,do you?" She asked I glanced at around the room full of boxes and groaned. I forgot I'm not in Boston anymore "get dressed, Antonio will drop you off by the school" she said before strolling out in her silky robe "arghh why does that mom stealer have to drop me off" I muttered under my breath strolling to the bathroom to get my makeup done, I did a light blue smokey eye with a soft touch of pink lip gloss and winged eyeliner that looked stunning. After I got my make up done I got dressed and wore a black crop top with light blue ripped mom jeans and white addidas superstars, I took on last look in the mirror and tied my scruffy brown hair into a neat bun. I walked downstairs to get some break fast only to find my mom and Antonio smooching with his hand on her but " eww can you guys get a room" I moaned only to get their attention and they pulled themselves back together "honey can I get you anything for breakfast" mom asked " No mom I'm not hungry" I replied I mean who could blame after what I saw I couldn't keep my appetite " Good morning Celeste your looking beautiful as always" Antonio said in a nice tone " thank you Antonio your looking good too" I replied trying to compliment him. I never liked Antonio I mean he was rich snobby and good looking but the only reason why I respected him is cause he made my mom happy. I looked at my phone and notice if I didn't move now I was going to be late " I hate do disturb you guys but I'm gonna be late if I don't leave now Antonio if your busy maybe I could drive myself to school" I exclaimed "No you've already destroyed three cars and your drivers license got taken away so no driving for you" mom growled "whatever" I mumbled and got in the car, the rest of the car ride was quiet so I decided to plug headphone into my phone and blast out Lorde's new album melodrama it was a masterpiece I must say "Celeste! We're here!" I heard Antonio yell as I didn't hear him the first few times on purpose. I looked  round and the school looked nothing like my old school. It was big and looked like those cringey schools you'd see in a movie like mean girls. I hopped out of the car and waved goodbye to Antonio. As I was walking up to the building I read the signs and posters on the walls about some dance and immediately a thin blonde hair girl came up to me with a clip board "hey you must be new my name is Ella and I'm the student body president her at Eastleigh high and your name is..." she asked curious to know " Celeste,My name is Celeste please to meet you" I replied " Celeste what a beautiful name" she said in a friendly tone "thanks I better be heading to the office so bye" I replied trying to hurry to get my timetable " see you around" she replied and I hurried to get inside and I walked straight into the receptionist desks
The receptionist was and lady around her mid forties she was chewing gum and rapidly pressing her keyboard
"Excuse me" I politely said to get noticed the women didn't flinch I waited a bit but I didn't get a response "Excuse me ma'am" I yelled she noticed and said "what can I get you dear" she asked my timetable I'm  new here "oh you must be Celeste" she asked like she was expecting me "yeah I am is there a problem no honey
