They met on an “SC” journey. An “SC” journey is a trip that you can go on where you pack a bag and for three months you travel to each of the seven continents. You are flown over the three months by the same plane and a team of four pilots. You stay at grand hotels, eat the finest food, and are accompanied by a tour guide at all times during daylight hours. The only thing that could possibly be a downside is the fact that you’re also traveling in the company of 24 other people. Twenty-four strangers you have to spend three months with. Oh, and for activities and certain ‘adventures’ on the tour you have to pick a partner or group for. Well, actually, you don’t get to pick the people. Unless you’re married to or on the trip with a specific person, the tour guide assigns you a partner that is or is close to your age. And believe it or not, most people go alone. You’d probably find one or two couples out of all of the 25 people who are going. Most are single young to middle-aged men and women who have money to burn. There are very few younger than 22. Two or three tops, if any at all.
