I woke up feeling drowsy. I'm not the type of kid that jumps with joy when they hear "school time". I walked into the bathroom, got undressed, fell asleep standing, woke up to ice cold water in my face, jumped out and quickly got dressed, then brushed my teeth.
I decided to wear one of my favorite shirts: a silky red one and a pair of jeans. I walked out the door then remembered I forgot almost everything. I went back in and got my backpack and put my shoes on, then saw that I hadn't brushed my hair. I barely made it to the bus and fell asleep instantly. I slept through 1st period and miraculously didn't get in trouble, most likely thanks to James. Next was math, where me and James always stared into space and slowly failed.
Then gym (one of the only periods I enjoy), then all the other periods. I saw Michael while I was walking to 6th period, he looked better than last time. When it was time to go I was so happy I yelled, getting me detention, so I was there two more hours before I could leave. I got home and took another shower, ate dinner, then read my phone. Haley was sad about something. I quickly texted her back: Hey sorry I had detention, are u ok baby?
Yea, just don't feel to good.
let me come over there.
normally I'd say no, but if you want to ok.
I'll be there in 7 minutes.
I put my phone in my pocket, got on my bike, and headed to her house. When I got there Haley's mom was on the porch. "Hey Mrs. Johnson, May I go see Haley?" I asked. "Yea go on in" she said.
"thank you"
"you're welcome"
I walked in and went to Haley's room. She was on her bed. "Hey" I said, half cheerfully. "Hey, sorry I made you want to come all the way here" "Don't be, I wanted to come see you"
"thanks" she said, getting up, which made me suddenly realize she was in her underwear.
