"You-you accept my confession?" Cuphead stammers.
I giggle. "Yes."
"What does it mean, now we're mutual?"
I look up in thought before saying, "I think now we say I love you and kiss and hug. At least that's what I know."
Cuphead stares at me. "You mean, date, (N/n)?"
"Yes." I say rather sternly. "I'm not as naive as you think, Cup. I know many things. Some are things you don't even know about!"
Cuphead raised a brow at my childishness and I scoop him up and carry him upstairs. He may have forgotten I was taller.
I set him on the bed and kiss his cheek. He blushes even more and I thought it was adorable. I cup his face and move even closer.
Our lips connect and I feel fireworks set inside of me.
Is this really happening? Was I really kissing Cuphead? It felt so wrong but I knew it was okay. It was right.
The feelings were mutual anyway.

Soon, day became afternoon, and afternoon became night. Me, Mugs, and Cup, decided it was a good idea to go camping outside. It was still winter, but it seemed like an okay idea to lay inside a tent and stare off into space.
It seemed relaxing.
So, it was night. We all bid our goodbyes to Elder Kettle and set our tent right behind the house.
Here was the problem, though: Cuphead and Mugman had tents long ago since they've camped years and years ago. I, on the other hand, had never bought myself a tent. . .
Mugman suggested, "you can share with one of us, (N/n)."
"Alright." I smiled. "I'll share with Cuphead, then."
Mugman nodded and went back inside the house to grab a bag of marshmallows. Of course, the classic tradition of smores.
I sit around the campfire and smile. Cuphead sits beside me and warms himself up. Luckily, I was able to grab a log before we set our campsite up so we had a place to sit down.
Not long after, Mugman returns with clean sticks and two marshmallow bags. One was vanilla marshmallows, and the other was chocolate.
I smiled at Mugman as he opened the bags and handed them to me and Cuphead. We instantly got 3 or 4 marshmallows and roasted them on the sticks.
Soon, me and Cuphead were eating smores and it was honestly delicious and relaxing. I snuggled beside Cuphead and sighed in content.
"Do you like the atmosphere of this place?" Asks Cuphead.
I giggle and nod, "yes, it's warm and cozy."
He wraps his arm around me and leads me to his tent where we head off to bed. What a simple day. . .
☆
I hear a painful ringing in my ears. I growl and sit up, staring at Cuphead beside me, who was deep in sleep.
I check outside the tent and look around us. Where did that ringing come from? I didn't know, but I decided it was better if I stayed outside for a short moment.
Sitting on the logs around the fire, I nuzzle into my fleece coat and shiver. Despite being cold, it was still very relaxing.
I feel a weight beside me, holding my waist close to their body. I closed my eyes and leaned into them. Falling asleep, I whisper,
"Goodnight. . ."
