Rory stepped out of the church. Outside the fall air was chilly. She walked to her car holding her mom's warm hand. As they pulled into her driveway her mom announced that she was going to go to the store after she got changed. Rory said she would go with her. Trips to the store with her mom where always fun.
They ran inside to get changed. As they drove it started to pour. Rory looked out her window into the thick fog but she could not see a thing.
When she was finally was able to see bright headlights swerving towards them. Rory screamed but when her mom saw the headlights it was already too late. Rory heard the windshield break, then everything went black.
