"I told you, I've never done this before." Mitch says quietly, holding on tightly to Scott as his own knees wobble a bit.

"Don't worry. If you fall, I'll catch you."

"Smooth," Mitch smiles, rolling his eyes. Scott pulls him slowly on the floor. It lets Mitch keep his legs mostly motionless as Scott roller skates backwards, holding both of Mitch's hands as they move slowly. "Why are you so good at this?"

"Athlete?" Scott offers. He shrugs, his arms moving and causing Mitch to tense and grip tighter. He laughs softly, forcing Mitch's glare up from his feet to Scott.

"Oh my god," Mitch gasps, his eyes darting back and forth between his feet and Scott as their pace increases slightly. "Scott! Slow down - oh god."

Scott laughs softly, releasing Mitch's hands and causing him to panic a bit but then he's grabbing Mitch's waist, and he feels safe again. He slows their pace, holding Mitch closer and watching as Mitch grabs nervously at Scott's biceps.

"Baby, it's okay." Scott soothes, coming to a stop by the side of the roller rink and pressing a kiss to Mitch's forehead.

"Shush," Mitch frowns, pushing gently at Scott's arm and gasping in fear when his body shifts and Scott's arms loosen around him. "Scott!" He squeals, arms flailing as he feels his feet slipping along the wood.

"Mitchy!" Scott gasps, arms swinging back around Mitch's waist to pull him close and set him up right and steady.

"That was scary," Mitch whispers, hands resting on Scott's chest.

"But I caught you," Scott smiles.

Mitch rolls his eyes, "shut up."

"Make me."

"I will!"

Scott smirks as Mitch starts to lean forward to kiss him, unraveling his arms and skating away slowly.

"You've gotta catch me, first."

"Scott!" Mitch says, eyes widening as Scott moves farther away, out of his reach. "Stop, that's not fair!"

"Come on, baby." He teases, reaching a hand out and pulling it away when Mitch reaches forward.

"Stop!" Mitch says firmly, his hands flying out to his sides in an attempt to keep his balance. "Scott, please."

"Baby, you can do it. Just go slowly," Scott says gently, holding his hands out and gesturing for Mitch to move his feet.

"I don't want to fall." Mitch says quietly.

"I'll keep you safe," Scott smiles softly. "Just move on foot slowly, yeah. There you go, baby! Now, the other." Scott guides Mitch calmly, sweetly. He praises him and keeps Mitch's cheeks tinted red with every word falling softly from his lips. "You're doing so well, baby!"

Mitch smiles, biting at his lip and tearing his eyes away from his feet slowly sliding along the rink floor. And then he's gasping because his legs wobble and his feet slip, and Scott surges forward, grabbing him and pulling him forward. It's not as smooth as the first time, and the momentum of Mitch has Scott falling backwards, instead, Mitch being pulled down on top of Scott's firm body as they both crash to the floor.

"Oh gosh!" Mitch says, pushing himself up a bit so that he's hovering over Scott. "Are you okay? Oh my god."

Scott just laughs, hands reaching up to cover his face as he lets out soft giggles. Mitch smiles, laughing along quietly before reaching for Scott's hands and prying them away from his face.

"Are you okay? Need me to kiss anything better?" Mitch smiles.

Scott nods, puckering his lips. Mitch giggles, leaning forward and pressing a quick kiss to Scott's lips before pushing himself off Scott's body so that he's sitting on his bottom next to him.

"Scotty," Mitch says. "I don't know how to get up."

This sends Scott into another laughing fit, causing him to cover his mouth as he pushes himself up into a sitting position. Mitch watches, a small smile tugging at his lips as he watches the cute crinkles of Scott's eyes and nose form as he laughs.

"Baby, come on! Help!" He laughs, nudging Scott's arms. He pouts and crosses his arms as Scott finds his way to his feet, his laughs dying off. He offers Mitch a hand and pulls him up, wrapping his arms around his waist securely.

"You didn't get hurt, right?" Scott asks, pressing a kiss to Mitch's nose.

"I'm okay," Mitch leans into his chest. "You caught me."

"Of course I did," Scott hums. "I always will."

"I love you, Scotty."

"I love you," he says. "Now let's go get a snack."
