The mistake

(Y/n POV)

I was beyond angry, I was bat shit angry. I just ran away from the camp that everyone calls "heaven" that my "group" had been searching for, for the past few months, I mean it's great that we found the place and all but it's like a community camp where theres a bunch of different groups living there, And if anyone, I mean anyone, thinks I'm coming back, there wrong, and why would anyone want me to come back after what I did.

The whole reason I never wanted or had a group in the beginning of this hell born apocalypse was because I don't want to get attached, but of course I did, and I payed the ultimate price for it, and that price was becoming weak, I hated being weak, it's the feeling of it that I hate most. Everyone around me dies, thats most of the cause for my weakness.

Anyways, back to the story on why I'm leaving camp.

(Flash back)

I was in my tent and I heard a girl say my name to another person, and I started to listen to what she was saying to the person about me, and I peeked out of the tent to see Jonathan, Jonathan is a part of my group (And someone I got attached to over time) "I heard (y/n) does sexual things with Zs pretending that it's you" said the girl which I thinks name was Zoe. "

Eww why the hell would she do that, that's gross" said Jonathan. That's what ticked me off, the fact that he would actually believe her, I jumped out of my tent as fast as I could. "Oh (y/n) I didn't know you were in there" she said smirking.

"Ok I know for a fucking fact you knew I was in there" I said red with anger. "Woah your as red as your sweater" Zoe said laughing the fakest laugh I have ever heard in my life. "Were you in there pleasing yourself while me and Jonathan were-" she got cut off by me pouncing on here "oof" Zoe said hitting the ground.

"get off of me you Z loving bitch!" Zoe said squirming under me. "Your going to regret even trying to start this rumor" I said punching her in the face multiple times till she spat blood at me. I got up and looked down at her, "you done?" I asked. "Nope" she said wiping the blood from under her nose.

We both looked towards Jonathan and he looked at us like we were crazy and ran, "well fuck you too!" I screamed at him in pure rage. I looked back at Zoe to get a fist to the eye. "UGH" I groan. 'That's gonna leave a mark' I thought to myself. "Fuck, why do ya gotta go for the cheap shots?" I spat.

She tried hitting me again in the face but I simply dodged the hit, thanking my quick reflexes, I punch her chin knowing that it's the power spot, and remembering going to a few boxing classes before this whole hell of an apocalypse started.

I was right, after I hit her she was out cold. I poked her face a couple times and then she started to wake up. I took this advantage and ran, I ran to the front of the camp while being called names such as, "zombie slut" and "is that the girl that does gross things with the Zs?" A group of children ask an adult. "Look she's going to find her next Z to play with" said a man. 'Huh, I guess rumors get around fast, even on this hell of a place called earth' I thought to myself.

I just ignored all of the comments by turning around while still running and flipping everyone off around me, and then I turned back around and ran until I couldn't see any sign of the camp anymore.

(End of Flash back)

that's how I got to this point. I was thinking and all of a sudden I feel a damp alcohol smelling cloth over my nose and mouth. I tried screaming but it was no use, I was to far from the camp and to far for anyone to hear me, I slowly started to fall asleep and suffocate at the same time.

When I woke up I was in some type of jail cell. It was dark, but not to dark because there was a little lamp that was attached to the wall giving off some light in the dark room.

I heard someone coming my way so I pretended I was still unconscious, I heard a lock get unlocked and my eyes instantly shot open, but quickly closed after.

The person that had opened the cell walked up me, I still had my eyes closed but not closed enough to not be able to see anything, so I was practically squinting, but in a less noticeable way. They poked me a couple times before they checked my pulse, I took my advantage and grabbed the person by the wrist and twisted it behind there back and flipped them on the hard, cold floor swiftly, "oof" said the person under me that sounded like a man. then I felt a jolt of electricity run throughout my entire body, to be honest it felt like one of those electric shock prank pens, which by that I mean it didn't hurt, but I sure felt something.

I flipped the man that I had flipped on his stomach over so that his front was facing me, and I hit him once in the face, and he was out like a light. Then I turned to the direction of where the electric shock came from and there was a man that looked horrified he grabbed something from his side, "BANG!" Was the last thing I heard...
