I ran as hard as I could trying to prevent myself from getting shot. I heard people around me scream and moan which meant that they were shot. I ran to the corner and hid there. I saw people run past me being too busy trying to get away. I stayed there for a moment to catch my breath before I stood up and ran to the left and to the right trying to find a way out of the maze. Along the way I had shot people. I was not going to give up. I ran around the corner and looked shocked while she smirked at me.
'Please don't do this,' I said anxious.
'You'd expect me to spare you baby?' she asked as she laughed evilly.
'Yes.'
'Why would I do that?'
'Because you lov-' before I could finish my sentence, she already pulled the trigger. I groaned in annoyance and looked angry at her.
'Did you really have to shoot me?' I asked as I dropped the gun.
'Well yeah, that was fun,' she said as she laughed.
'But now I'm out,' I said as I sighed.
'Jesus, it's just a game,' she said as she rolled her eyes. I sucked in air between my teeth and moaned softly.
'One day I'm gonna get you back for that baby,' I said as I started to chase her. She tried to get away, but I caught her. I started tickling her and held her tightly.
'No! Aiden, stop!!!' she said as she laughed.
'Tell me you love me,' I said as I continued.
'No!' she said as she tried to get out of my grip.
'Say it and I'll stop,' I said as I gave her a peck on her sweet spot. Between her laughing I heard her moan softly. She held me by my neck and gave me more access, but instead of giving her what she wanted I stopped and pulled away a little. She moaned in annoyance and gripped my bicep tightly. I chuckled and bit my lip.
'Say it and I'll continue,' I said as I spun her around.
'Here?' she said as she bit her lip.
'Hmm-hmm.'
'Right here, right now,' I whispered as I pulled her closer.
'Just imagine me bending you over like this,' I said as I turned her around and bend her over.
'And against the wall like that,' I said as I pushed her against the wall.
'And to make you moan louder and louder for everyone to hear,' I said as I pulled her against my chest. She moaned softly and chuckled.
'Well, that sure as hell sounds like a risk worth of getting caught,' she said as she turned around. I laughed softly and kissed her. She grabbed onto my shirt and pulled me closer as she roughly kissed me back. I picked her up and pushed her against the wall, but not hard enough to hurt her. I stopped kissing her and started kissing her neck. She moaned as I sucked on her sweet spot. She gripped my shoulder tightly as I softly bit on her collarbone.
'Aidennn,' she moaned when she felt I was ready. I moaned softly as she pulled up my shirt. Completely lost in the heat of the moment she suddenly pulled away. I stopped kissing her and followed her gaze to the side surprising to see my best friend.
'Please, keep going. Don't let me ruin the moment,' he said as he licked his lips. I put her down and laughed.
'Brandon.'
'Ruby.'
'How are you?' he asked as he smirked.
'I was doing perfect before you interrupted us,' she said annoyed.
'You can continue,' said Brandon as he bit his lip.
'You're impossible,' said Ruby as she grabbed her stuff and walked away. Me and Brandon looked at each other and laughed.
'So, let me guess. You got killed by Ruby,' said Brandon as he laughed.
'Yeah,' I responded as I laughed.
'Worst girlfriend ever.' I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
'What about you?' He started laughing and looked at me.
'I got shot by a kid man,' he said as he slapped himself.
'Seriously,' I said as I laughed.
'Yeah man.'
'How old was the kid?' I asked.
'I don't know man, eleven, twelve?'
'Dude.'
'He took me by surprise man. There was no way I could've seen that coming,' he said as he looked down.
'Well you got shot by a kid and I by my girlfriend. We both failed,' I said as I smiled.
'Yeah. At least we failed together,' he added.
'Come on, we gotta go back to the others,' I said as I grabbed my stuff. I walked towards Brandon and stopped a few inches away from him.
'And don't say shit about what you've seen,' I said as I clenched my fist and held it close to his face.
'Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you were about to fuck Ruby here,' he said as he smirked.
'Or about how you were gonna bend her over, do her against the wall and make her moan for everyone to hear,' he whispered softly.
'I don't think I was going to be the problem if you would've fucked her here, now would I?' he said as he laughed evilly.
'You may be my best friend Aiden, but you should know that even if we'd fight...' he said cutting off his sentence and stepped closer.
'I will win,' he whispered in a husky voice that send shivers down my spine.
'See you around handsome,' he said as he winked at me and walked away. I watched him walk away and exhaled heavily. I walked to the exit and looked for Ruby. When we found each other we walked to the bus station and took the bus to my place. When we arrived we got in and made something to eat.
'Were are your parents?' asked Ruby as she looked around.
'They are always working remember?' I said as I looked down.
'It'd be surprising if they even know I still existed.' She walked over to me and held my face.
'Hey, don't talk like that. Your parents love you,' she said as she smiled sadly.
'Yeah,' I said sarcastically as I chuckled.
'They do. In their own special way,' she said as she gave me a kiss on my cheek. I smiled at her and kissed her.
'What would I do without you?' I said as I held her hand. She chuckled and looked into my eyes.
'I know you don't think that your parents care, but you've always got me. No matter what happens, I'll be here.'
'Even if we'd ever break up?'
'Aiden, you are not just my boyfriend, but also my best friend,' she said as she cupped my chin.
'And nothing will ever change that.'
'Nothing?' I asked
'Nothing.' I smiled at her and hugged her. The moment I wanted to say something the front door flew open. We looked to the right surprising to see my parents. I sat up straight and looked down.
'Why do you always need to have the last word!' yelled my mom angrily at my father.
'I'm not trying to have the last word!' yelled my dad in confusion.
'Here! Now you do it again!'
'Baby I...'
'No Drake! I'm done with this,' she said as she dropped her bag. My dad looked confused and laid his stuff down.
'Do you mind telling me what I've done?' he said calm.
'As if you don't know,' she said as she turned around.
'I don't?!' said my dad confused as he raised his eyebrow. My mother sighed and turned around.
'I got a call from Joanna saying you were screwing your assistant,' she said looking angry at him. Silence filled the room before my dad started laughing. My mom furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and took a step backwards. Once my dad stopped laughing he looked at her.
'Joanna said that I am screwing my assistant?' he asked as he laughed. She nodded and looked down.
'And you really believe that?' he asked as he cupped her chin.
'You have been spending more time at the office than you should.'
'And Joanna said that she saw you with Joy,' she said looking sad.
'Amber, I have not been screwing my assistant,' he said as he looked into her eyes.
'She was looking into the money disappearance and she needed help.'
'So I helped her.'
'So there was no screwing?' she asked as she cried a bit.
'No,' he said as he wiped her tears away.
'Well I actually am screwing someone in my life tho,' he said as he smirked.
'What!' she said as she pushed my dad away.
'And that person is...'
'You are not actually telling me who it is are you,' she said angrily.
'And that person...'
'Drake...'
'...is my beautiful wife,' he said as he smiled at her. She smiled back and gave him a kiss.
'Baby, you know that I would never cheat on you,' he said as he held her face. She nodded and smiled again. Ruby and I looked at each other and then back at my parents.
'Did it ever occur to you that your son may be home?' I asked speaking of myself in the third person. They both turned around in shock and looked at me.
'Aiden baby!' yelled my mother excited as she ran towards me. She pulled me off the couch and hugged me.
'Mother,' I said as I softly hugged her back. She stopped hugging me and looked at Ruby.
'How are you doing Ruby?' she asked kind.
'I'm doing fine Mrs Segorro,' she said as she smiled.
'Ruby we've been over this,' said my mom as she crossed her arms.
'Right Amber. Sorry, old habit,' said Ruby as she laughed nervously.
'It's alright darling. Would you like to stay for dinner?' Ruby was about to answer when I already did
'That would be weird considering I'm not gonna be here.'
'Honey we talked about this tonight we're gonna-' right before she could finish her sentence I spoke.
'Yes we have talked about this and I specifically told you that I wasn't available tonight.'
'Honey it's our anniversary today,' said my mom looking at my father.
'Yes exactly. It's YOUR anniversary. Not mine,' I answered grabbing my jacket.
'Besides I've already got plans with the boys,' I said as I grabbed my car keys.
'Come on,' I said as I held out my hand for Ruby to take it. She took my hand and said goodbye to my parents. I drove her home and went to Brandon's house.
