Looking around all I could find or well see, was the trees and other plants blocking my view.

'First lesson, never rely on one of your senses. Use smell, hearing, and touch. The can sometimes help more than sight alone.'

I stopped and closed my eyes thinking and I took a deep breath. I could pull out 6 different scents that were also the same. Wolves, that also mean werewolves, wolves don't exist in this state. Using their scents to track their movements they were circling me. watching what I was doing. One seemed confused as to why I was no longer looking around.

One by one they stopped and began to move closer to trap me in a circle. I stood up with my eyes still closed. One thought went through my head as they stopped moving again. Should I be civilized and do hand to beast or just shoot them?

They all moved it at once and I opened my eyes pulling out the .44 in one solid motion.

I was too slow on the draw and the first wolf knocked the revolver out of my hand and another hit me from the side knocking me off balance and tipping me over.

The other 4 wolves came up but did not interfere with the two attacking me.

I rolled over and the two wolves moved so they were both in front of me. I lifted my left hand and unsheathed my claws. They worked kind of like a cats. They both lept at me going for a quick kill aiming for my neck. I ducked down further and raked my claws down the left wolf's stomach effectively cutting it open. Blood ran down my arm as the other wolf missed.

The one I cut open tried to stand then ultimately collapsed in death. the others seemed to get angrier with me and the other wolves began to move towards me.

Two lept at me from my left and I in turned dove towards them and managed to tag one down the side killing the wolf before it hit the ground. With only 4 wolves left they came at me all at once this time.

I rolled to the right but was not fast enough and one latched onto my leg with a death grip, shaking its head to tear as many ligaments as possible.

Kicking the wolf off did not yield the results I wanted and it took my foot with it. Searing pain moved up my body and I turned and lunged at the wolf with my foot and tore its head from its body.

My vision began to turn red as I began to loose my self control. The wolves began to back up and retreat. I only got more angry at the cowardly creatures and I blacked out.

When I opened my eyes the morning light fell onto my now mostly naked body, I shot up and looked down at where my foot used to be. Seeing a bare foot there I let out a shaky breath. my toes had been replaced with long black claws and my other shoe seems to have been miss placed. I looked over the rest of my body only see lots of dried blood all over my arms and chest. I tried to stand up and I limped over to a nearby stream.

Blood caked my face and I had small horns growing out of my head. I began to wash myself and I try to remember what happened. I remember  the fight, killing 3 wolves before I blacked out after attempting to chase after the other 3.

I can guess what happened to the other three wolves, it probably ended badly.

I let out a shaky breath as I wiped the blood and dirt from my face and limbs. I could only guess as to what I had ate while I was blacked out because I was not hungry, in fact I felt full. I guess I could add cannibalism to my list of things I've done against humanity.

After cleaning myself off I looked at the rags that had been a good army uniform, now only tattered remains. I guess I was getting some more clothes.

Other P.O.V. (point of view)

20 years prior to 2017

"Well, look what we have here. A luna and her Alpha mate. Where's your kid?" The man asked as he walked around them.

Four men stood around the two inside a dark room. The couple had just finished putting their five year old son to be when a group of rouges attacked and nearly wiped out the pack. The survivors still fighting for their lives.

"I asked you once!" The man back handed the wife, and the husband tried to move. "I'm not gonna ask again. Where's the runt? Or I'm gonna kill her!" The man pointed a gun to his wife's head.

"I won't tell you. We never will." The husband once again tried to free himself of his bonds. The man pushed the father over and shot the mother in the head.

"NOOO! You sick Bastard!" The now single father yelled at the man as he began to break out into tears.

"Then tell. Me. Where. The. Runt. IS!" He moved his aim to the fathers knee and pulled the trigger.

The father screamed out in pain and he began to shed more tears.

"Fuck you! you wont get it out of me." the alpha grunted through the pain.

"Fine then I'll find him myself." The man pulled the trigger a third and final time to end the fathers suffering.

"Sir, one of the others set the house on fire. we have to go." A new man said as he walked into the room.

"I thought I told them not to. Those Idiots." He waved his hand and all of them exited the room. The little boy hiding in the wall watching however did not leave, but continued to look at his parents body.
