(For you guys who are wondering, my name is actually Alliyah ☺️ The meaning up there is totally a lie 😂 I'm not friendly, intelligent, or pretty)
Me and Takaya were walking down the street when I remembered something. "Oh! Takaya! Here! Take...hmph...! Here!", I said, handing a pile of business cards.
"What...the hell are these...?", Takaya asked looking at the cards with disgust. I chuckled nervously. "I just thought we could hand these out while we're walking home", I told him. Instead, he just started ripping a bunch of them and growing on the floor. "Hey! I worked hard on those!", I whined. He rolled his eyes, again...😓
"Ta-", "Yuki-chan!!" I got cut off by a girl running towards us. "Oh...! Uh...hi?" She stopped in front of us, huffing and puffing. "Y-yeah, hi...! I uh w-wanted to let y-you know that...hoo...I've seen them...around...here...!", she said between breathes. My eyes gleamed. "Really?! Can you say the loca-", "Sorry, but Yuki is dead right now", Takaya cut in. "Bye now", Takaya led us away.
I clenched my teeth. "Why do you have I be so mean, Takaya?!", I asked. "That could have hel-", "helped us find the four of them?" He cut me again. "Y-yeah..." He chuckled. "I don't CARE about the others...All I care about is her...", he said, a sense of feeling in his eyes. I couldn't help but look at him...a little bit of sadness in me...
-The next Day-
"Yuki! Are you ready to go yet?", Takaya asked, as he stood by the door to my room. "Yeah!", I said, getting up.
Today, my mom asked us to help around at the spa. We agreed since we had nothing to do at all except laying around the villa like total idiots.
As we entered the hot springs, I saw my mom whipping the table where guests can sit down and take a break. I smiled and waved at her. "Morning mom!" "Good morning you two. I'm glad you decided to help me today", she greeted us. I nodded my head.
"Oh! That reminds me! Can you two buy something from the local market? I needed to cabbages and carrots and some...uh...I guess some milk for baby Karaya". I nodded and took Takaya's hand. "Come on Takaya!"
TAKAYAS POV
Yuki grabbed my hand. "Come on Takaya!" I didn't know why, but inside me I felt like she was somewhat a familiar person. I mean, I'm not talking about the fact that we grew up together since we were wearing diapers, but...somehow...a feeling that not everybody gets when they're holding hands with a childhood friend.
I just shrugged it off and let her pull me all the way out the hot springs. "Hey, Yuki can let go of me now?", I asked irritated. I couldn't see very well but I think she blushed and hesitated before letting go of my hand. "S-Sorry...!", she stuttered. I grinned and put my face closer to hers. "Or maybe...you want me closer?" He blushed before punching me away and started stomping off to the local market.
Yuki's POV:
"Hey Takaya!", I called to the black head behind me. He groaned. "What??" I couldn't help but giggle at his reaction. "Can you walk faster?" He groaned again.
Once we reached the local market I took in a sniff off the fresh fruits and vegetables around me. "These fruits look so fresh!!", I said happily picking up a lemon. "Of course...! They came straight from the neighboring farms from the other side of Mount. Sakuraouji", said the old lady on the other side of the counter. She smiled at us. "Really?! Mount. Sakuraouji!" She nodded. Takaya made a 'tch...!' Sound. I looked at him confused. "What...?" He sighed and said, "Haven't you heard of the legend of Mount. Sakuraouji?" I shook my head.
"Okay, so the legend says that there were six spirits that lived at that mountain. And rah spirit led a key to each spiritual world; Tendou, Ningendou, Gakidou, Chikushidou, Shuradou, and Jigokudou. But one day one of the spirits betrayed the rest of the spirits and a war between realistic and unrealistic beings arose", said Takaya. I looked at him with a surprised expression. The lady behind the counter did as well.
"I'm surprised that you know such and old folk tale", she said to Takaya. Takaya shrugged. "Is it true though?", I asked curiously to the old lady. "I don't know...No one does...But it is a very sad and impassioning tail..." I sighed. "Well, that's nice to hear but, um, we have to go now...", I pulled Takaya away. "Well, see you some other time Miss!", I waved goodbye. She waved back with a wavering smile.
"Why are you shaking Yuki?", Takaya asked. "What?", I said before realizig that I was still holding on to Takaya and I was indeed shaking. I let go flustering. "S-sorry...! Let's just go now and get the things we need...!" I walk away speed walking. "What is he thinking about...", Takaya mumbled, walking behind me.
After we got everything we needed, me and Takaya started walking back to the hot springs. Then...
"Takaya! Let's finish where we left off!", yelled a voice from behind us. I know that voice somewhere...I turned to see that it was Kusanagi with his small group behind him.
"You again?", Takaya asked sounding tired. "Tch...! You're going down little boy!", Kusagani said, a weird aura could be felt around him. Then all of a sudden, Kusanagi's hair changed into slithering snakes, his eyes burn red, and his nail turning long and pointy. He grew wings and became a hollow figure. I couldn't help but stand there looking at the hideous beast in front of me and Takaya.
"GARGHHHHHHHH!!!", he came at Takaya. Takaya thankfully dodged and managed to kick the thing off it feet. But it rose again and kept on swinging on Takaya. I just stood there. Frozen.
It didn't take for "Kusanagi" to notice me and come at me. But I didn't move. I was too afraid to even flinch. Until...Someone lifted me up in his arms. His warm feeling makes me feel light and relaxed. I looked up to see who it was. It was...
"Eh?! AKI-CHAN?!?!"
