chapter 6: 6 months..

(a week after hold on was released)

DOM'S POV
lilly. L-I-L-L-Y, i'm so lucky to be able to call her my girlfriend. i still can't believe she's mine. it's been 6 months and i think it time we tell everyone. since it's been 3 days since hold on was released, people have questions and they deserve an answers. we decided to only tell our friends and family. we thought it would be the best for our relationship right now.

tonight was our 6 month anniversary, but the squad was having a party so we decided we'd go and tell them there. but the rest of the night would be for us to share.

(6pm)

LILLY'S POV
we walked up to alex's house and knocked on the door. yousef opens the door and says "hey guys, what's up?" in shock. "hey, what's wrong?" i say. "oh nothing, y'all just never come together". "oh" i say trying to laugh it off.

YOUSEF'S POV
i hear a knock on the door and i open it to see dom and lilly standing there. usually they come alone or at least not with each other. it was kinda suspicious, especially after that video on dom's channel.

as i was talking to them i noticed dom had something red on his lips. the same color lipstick lilly was wearing..

"they're probably dating.." i thought inside of my head.

but i'm okay with it, i have nothing against it. lilly probably doesn't want me anyway. but i was hoping that we'd end up together.

LILLY'S POV
after we finally walked into alex's house i seen swoozie, lauren, alex, simmi, humble & a few others.

of course i instantly went over to lauren.

lilly: wassup my six sista! (while leaning in for a hug)
lauren: wassup sis! (while hugging me)
lilly: omg i missed you! its been like forever, we're always so busy.
lauren: i know! but how are you? i seen you and dom's video.. (in a playful tone)
lilly: (laughing) i'm good.. and yeah i know. everyone's seen it!

...

for a while we played flip cup, danced, and vlogged. of course!

we ended our night by watching a movie and while we were, i was cuddled up next to dom. i could tell everyone was little confused..

(at the end of the movie)
lilly: dom.
dom: what's up ?
lilly: should we tell them now ?
dom: yeah, i think so.

...

"guys, we have something to tell you.."

(everyone looks at us)

soooooo.. we all know this is probably what you wanted but..

"WE'RE DATING!!"

everyone clapped.

"congratulations!" a few people said.
"i knew it!" simmi said.
"awwww, you guys are so cute together. i knew one day it would happen" lauren said.

"so how long have you guys been dating ?" alex asks.
"tonight's actually our 6 month anniversary" dom replies.

soon we all left alex's house and headed home.

(at lilly's house)
dom: babe, i love you.
lilly: dommy, i love you too.
dom: so, um i got you something..
lilly: ooh, i wonder what it is.
dom: (gives it to her) see for your self.
lilly: (opens it) OMG! babe no! why.. you shouldn't have.

it was a box full of skittles, popcorn, and alot more but there was also 2 plane tickets to hawaii (lol)

"you're welcome. and we're leaving tomorrow morning .. you better start packing"

DOM'S POV
i'm so happy that lilly likes what i got her. i know it really sounds basic, but that's not all i have planned! 😏

i love her so much and i want her to know that..

she's been talking about going to hawaii for the longest! so i just decided to get us plane tickets to hawaii.. cuz why not ?

(2 hours later)

(dom starts playing mi gente)

(the song is up there ⬆️)

(grabs lilly's hand) "let's dance"

(lilly starts to grind on dom)

(they continue to dance carelessly)

they danced until sweat dripped down their faces and tears came out their eyes.

(btw, they were drunk. which made it more fun..)
