What happens when the lights go out (reverse mabifica story)

The Trip

Ok so this is kinda my first time writing a story after learning how to write better than a 8th grader, So thanks to college Im actually learning stuff my high school didn't teach me. Now the first part of this story is going to be in pacifica's point of view so she's explaining everything going on with her. So here I go entering the story

Pacifica's Point of view.

I began to open my eyes hearing a buzzing sound... 'huh I guess I fell asleep outside again' I murmured to myself as I see my father pack up the car after taking a rest under the stars with me and mother. We love the outdoors, we spend more time traveling than actually staying in one location after I graduated high school, but today was different... i'm going to be where there not going to be. To be honest with you guys, I'm more scared than ever for the reason I'm going to be with my cousin Gideon and his .. what did Gideon tell me to call him.. Oh right Grunkle Bud? yea I think I said it right. I've been messaging  Gideon for those months my family had told me where I was going to be going on my own, while they go to Canada and see if they can live over there. They rather move to a new location where a old friend of theirs wont find the family, that the reason they want to see with me being 18 and all if I can watch over myself and Gideon. 

"Pacifica honey, we had just called Bud to pick you up" father said walking towards me who was still laying on the grass in my casual Clothes, which is usually my bright lettered peace shirt with a rainbow sweater wrapped around my waist with my shorts slightly showing underneath the sweater. I lean on up and stretched letting out a grunt before answering with a "ok daddy" I said with a smile as he pats me on my head. I had forced myself to stand up and grab my bags from the car and I saw a message on my phone, 

 🤓 Gideon 🤓 : Hey cousin!! guess who's on there way to get yoouuu

Me: let me guess, Grunkle bud??

🤓 Gideon🤓 : well he is in the car, but Im driving 😃

'How does he have his license? and he got his before I got mine...' I thought to myself and shook off the feelings

Me: I would feel safer if you didn't text me and drive, come on cuz, follow those Psa's about don't text and drive

  🤓 Gideon 🤓 :  Im behind the Gray hound... the driver took a smoke break and grunkle bud had a stern talking to with that driver.

🤓 Gideon 🤓 :  Oh he's coming back, Talk to you when I get there

🤓 Gideon 🤓 :  I should get there in 20 minutes.

Me: Ok take your time, don't get hurt cuz 

I put my phone in the book bag that i had tossed onto my back with my 2 suitcases, I began to walk towards mother and father who was sitting in the field of flowers cloud watching. "Dear join us, before you leave for awhile" Mother said leaning up forwarding me to join them in the flowers. "Ok mom"  I walked over towards where my mother and father went sitting and joined them in the middle of this field. "We drove some time for you to see this spot before you left for Oregon, this is where we met and fell in love" Father said as he looked up in the sky, "Love in first sight" mother adds in laying on papa's lap joining in looking in the sky. I couldn't help but gaze at the sky too, seeing such puffy white clouds in silly shapes "Hey! I see a puppy holding an ice cream cone!" I said pointing at the sky as my parents chuckled " such a playful imagination" Father said looking towards the road starting to get up. "Mom I see.. " I skimmed through the sky to see a cloud shaped as "A triangle??" I questioned why that has to be the most boring cloud ever to be seen but it looks like a actual Triangle In the sky.. "Honey where do you see it?" mother said concerned as I pointed towards where it was. 

Oh Crud berries... it wasn't there anymore.. "Cuz your mind is as wild as a set of badgers verses Snakes" I heard a familiar voice and jolted my entire body over to see my cousin standing over the flower fields chuckling. "GIDEON" I screamed tackle hugging him, "Well howdy cuz" He said with a chuckle in his voice hugging me back, I never really saw him not through pictures my family had gotten years ago.. he grew kinda taller than he used to be. "Last time your family talked to Bud, I was 12" Oh right... hes a year younger than me.. and still has his license before me.. "You got a lot taller, like  a LOT" I said waving my arms around like a fool, Gideon Chuckled " I hit my growth-spurt  at age 16" he said standing up straight, he looked to be about my height now.. maybe even an inch under me. He stares at me for a moment "Your 5'6?" he asked me "Yuup, as right as a pickled pickle" I smiled as he chuckled to what I said, "still random, but yea Im only 5'5.. so you got a nice inch off of me now when I used to be practically 4'2 for so many years" gideon said with a chuckle. "Soo cuz" he said scratching his head " you wanna start going, Bud's gonna be driving now, so we can catch up" he asked me "Sure" I said grabbing my bag and suitcases beginning my trip up back to the roads to see a guy talking to my father. " I would like you to meet your Great Uncle Bud Pacifica" Father said to me as Bud walks towards me "awe such a lil angle you folks got there" He said looking at me with a smile that seems contagious even for me, who smiles quite often and is known for being bubbly. "Hi grunkle bud " I said with a smile and hugged him, I walked over to my parents who looked to almost start crying " Our baby bird has finally started flying away from the nest" mother says as she comes towards me to hug me "Yes dear, our angle is now grown up" Father said crying giving me a hug. Gee, both my mama and papa crying on me got me crying and hugging them "I love you guys" I said through my tears they stopped hugging and kissed my cheek, "we will always love you" They said as they started walking towards there car. I don't know what to do, this is my first time going away from them for longer than a weekend, but they said it will be easier for me to go with the others when ma and pa are finding a new place to live, "Hey cuz come on in" Gideon says as he opens the car door for me "No worry cuz I'll grab your stuff and put it in the trunk of the car" He adds in as I nod slowly going into the car. 'Holy Muffins! The seats are sooo soft and smooth' I thought to myself as I start poking the cushion behind my head as I felt a thud of the trunk closing "By the way cuz, I grabbed your phone from the backpack" Gideon says as he hands me my phone " How did you know it was in there?" I asked as he chuckled " It was playing music once I picked up your book bag" he answers sliding into the front seat. I open the window as Bud starts up the car "ILL MISS YOU TWO, MAMA AND PAPA" I screeched as bud turned on the car. 

As I watch the cars go there separate ways I began to remember some stuff and the reason why we went on this trip to find a new place, My mind got bombarded with old memory's some good some bad. "When in the flying fuck do you think your doing? You hippies need to learn who your talking down to" said a voice in the room with father "Listen here.. you can't tell us what we can and can't do, we work at a farm for Pete sake " father yells at the unknown voice. I heard a slam where father and the man was, mother ran down the stairs to help and I heard in big bold words "Listen hear you snotty fuck, you guys got until summer to leave or else" then a slam leaving the house, I look outside the window to see a guy in a suit with grey hair Storming out in a fit. I turn to see my mother and my father looking at me, father has a bruise on his face and held his hand on his cheek " Pacifica.. dont worry about him, this is your senior year don't feel stressed out sweetie" He said leaning down to me "We will celebrate when you graduate" He says quietly.

"HEY PAZ " Gideon says in more of a worried tone getting me out of my little Daze, "What just happened" I said shaking my head "You zoned out, in a different level, you started crying cuz" he said grabbing some tissues from a pack in the car " thanks" I said whipping my eyes. " Say little missy you must be tired due to the trip, why dont you try to get some rest, its gonna be a long drive" Bud says as he looks at me. "I think I'll take a nap later on, I... Kinda dont wanna remember what I just saw ...again" I murmured to myself as it caught a hold of gideon and I smiled " I took a long nap under the sky already, I'll be good for some time" I said to myself looking outside the window to see the sky once again. 'The heck?? Another Triangle Cloud??? ' I thought to myself as I go to take a picture of it and as soon as the camera came onto it the cloud.. just vanished ?!?! 'whats going on ?!?!' I thought to myself looking through my phone to find some stuff to do to kill time.

Time flys when your playing a game on the phone, I started playing a Pokemon rom I downloaded to my phone and of course its Pokemon Yellow " Paz you feeling good? you have been staring at your phone for a good hour" Gideon says as I looked up at him and showed him my phone. "Oh you have that Old game on your phone, well cuz I can get you one of the newer games and consols.. Can I pa?" Gideon says as he looks at Bud "Of course you can Son, I want her to feel at home with us" Bud says with a smile, and I smile " thanks you too" I said going back looking outside to see a weird billboard with an eye on it saying Always watching. "that billboard seems to stay clean in this Environment.." Gideon says as he turns away from the window, I kept staring since I was curious and I could of sworn I saw the eye follow each car that passed it. Oh good golly gosh it does!!! I saw the eye Scan through the car we are in... "Paz that board messes with peoples minds, don't believe it" Gideon says and I just hoped that he was right.
I just have a feeling right now, we're not alone right now.

Ok so this is part one of a I dont know how many chapters I'm going to have in this, I just hope that there's no spelling errors or grammar mistakes, and this chapter was very lengthy since I wanted to put more in it. now I started this at midnight and finished at 3am this part... so woops xD  Well I do hope you guys liked reading the first part, and don't worry Mabel and Mason Gleeful are gonna be in the next chapter, I'm positive about it, Buutt I need to get some sleep so I can be awake for school tomorrow .
