Emily stood outside the quaint little café, her heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement. The sign on the door read "Sunshine Brews," and it seemed like the perfect place to start fresh. Taking a deep breath, she pushed open the door and stepped inside.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, instantly making Emily feel at home. She approached the counter, where a friendly barista greeted her with a warm smile. "Welcome to Sunshine Brews! What can I get for you today?"

Emily returned the smile, feeling a surge of confidence. "Actually, I'm here about the job opening. I saw the ad online."

The barista's eyes lit up. "Oh, you must be Emily! I'm Sarah, the manager. We've been looking for someone like you. Come, let's sit down and chat."

They found a cozy corner table, and Emily couldn't help but notice the genuine warmth in Sarah's eyes. As they talked, Emily shared her passion for coffee, her experience in the hospitality industry, and her determination to provide a better life for her child.

Sarah listened attentively, nodding in understanding. "Emily, I can tell you're a hardworking and dedicated person. We would be lucky to have you on our team. Just one question, though. Are you available to work full-time?"

Emily hesitated for a moment, her mind racing. She knew that being a single mother might hinder her chances of getting hired, but she couldn't let that stop her. With a determined smile, she replied, "Yes, I'm available full-time. I'm committed to giving my best to this job."

Sarah's smile widened. "That's wonderful to hear, Emily. I have a good feeling about you. Welcome to the Sunshine Brews family!"
