" Darkness became my friend. Because light had abandoned me. "

The guards roughly grabbed my arms. Twisting them. I bit my lip, I couldn't act now. Here in a random underground hallway.
If I do. It'll be a waste.
They dragged me through the darkness of the empty hallow halls that held whispers of dead souls.
I felt a rush of power through my veins, slowly, and softly. I held my head high.
As they shoved me into a cell.
And closed the door. Leaving me with dear old darkness.
It was simple. I understood. But couldn't react in time.
These people were basically another force against the creators but unfortunately they were just as bad.
They simply need monsters to fight their battles.
It was life repeating itself.
I let the darkness wrap itself around me, as my eyes had closed.
I let myself lose control. To sleep.
•••
My knees were touching my chest, my eyes scanned everything, as my hands slowly touched the wall that had been shattered with screams.
It was dead silent. I could hear my heartbeat, softly.
Suddenly the cell door, flew open. Guns were amid at my head.
Two bodyguards, covered from top to bottom, yelled at me.
But their words were nothing to me. Their threats were stupid.
Because I simply don't care if they shot me. Why should I care. If I die or live.
My nails clawed the walls, as I slowly got up, my legs covered in scars. From myself. I couldn't control myself at night.
The guards yelled again.
One moving closer to me, and I couldn't help myself as a smirk reached my face.
He smashed the gun across my head.
My blood staining the cell walls.
My laughter filling the empty hallways, as they dragged me.
They finally reached a iron door.
Opening it.
And shoving me into it.
I fell to the ground, a smirk still glued to my face.
I was in a room. And glass was surrounding me.
They were watching from the door side.
It was simple, really.
They were going test my powers.
I gazed around. As a voice from the speakers said " Give it your best. "
I spun around.
Rowan. Was tied to a chair, his eyes watched mine. He was dying.
In a different chair, was a toddler. Crying, blood rushing down the boys blue crystal eyes.
Suddenly poisonous air filled the room.
I tried to walk over to Rowan. But as I did, the toddler cried harder. As I walked to the toddler, Rowan slowly started losing himself, dying from the poisonous air.
I ranches to Rowan, untied him, and froze as it wasn't Rowan.
It was a illusion of science.
I spun around, screaming as I reached the toddler.
Only finding the blue eyed toddler dead. I grabbed his tiny body, hold it to my chest.
I chose wrongly.
Because I was selfish.
I could hear the laughter from the other side of the glass walls.
I can't.
I can't stay helpless, I'm not a doll. I'm a monster.
And Monsters don't hide, monsters attack.
I screamed, shutting my eyes. As the glass walls shattered.
illusions of monsters, crawling out of the ground.
The humans on the other side, screamed as they saw thousands of demons surrounding them.
I let the body of the dead toddler fall out of my hands as I rushed to the only human who was left alive.
His eyes that held terror, watched mine. I kneel down to him.
Touching his cheeks, he shut his eyes.
And he started to choke.
I walked away as he fell, choking. His face turned red then a mix of green and black. He was choking on his own blood
I had made him believe he was choking, on blood. When in reality he wasn't.
My illusions had slowly faded, as he whispered on his dying breathe " You don't understand the truth, Miss X . You've been fed lies, experiments X "
He closed his eyes.
And I let loose a breathe I didn't know I was holding.
