Chapter TWO: prophecies and legends

Wolfram POV

I looked at my brothers in shock I couldn't believe they were doing this to me. Conrad tries to explain to me why they're doing this. He said it's for my good that they're worried about me. I just glare at him and walk over to the couch without a word waiting for this to be over with. Even though I'm trying to ignore him he continues talking

"We just want to make sure you're okay.  You don't need to wait to see Gisela. She'll be gone for another 2 months that's too long to wait to find out what's wrong with your health please Wolfram just see the healers.

You don't need to be suffering. So let's find out what's wrong. Whatever the problem is it'll stay within the family, in the castle and we will not tell Yuri okay." I begrudgingly said okay  Then we waited in silence for the healer.

The healer arrived about 10 minutes ago asked me questions and then started doing tests on me went on for about 30 minutes then she said she was going to go to the lab to do the testing and see what was going on with me. She'll get back to me within a day or two

Gwendol said "that it'll go faster at Anissina's lab its closer and the testing will go better because her lab has more equipment and they could have it done in a few hours instead of days"
The healer quickly agreed and went straight to Anissina's laboratory

Healers POV

I've run several different tests on the blood samples I got from Wolfram. so far I've found nothing out of the ordinary. While I did my final tests I noticed that Wolfram's hormone levels were higher than normal. Finding that strange I ran a few more tests.  My findings were so shocking that I went to Lord Gwendel's office immediately.

Gwendels POV

I sat in my office waiting impatiently for the healer to return. Conrad took Wolfram to lie down an hour ago. Because he's not getting much sleep lately. About 4 hours later there was a knock on my office door.

I said to enter and saw that it was the healer at last. I put my paperwork down giving my full attention to the healer saying "All right what did you find? Is it serious, what will he need to get better?"

"It's a bit more complicated than that," said the healer with these words my anxiety level went to the roof, and I became extremely frightened.  What could this be? Will he die? I can't lose my little brother.

All these thoughts ran through my mind, but I didn't let any of my fear show on my face. I had to maintain a calm and collected expression on the outside,  inside I was freaking out. the healer must have sensed my internal fears because she said "It's not an illness exactly but it is serious, unheard of and it could put his life at risk.

Gunter's Pov

I went to Gwendel's office to speak with him. About the treaties that are signed with the human Nations. When I overheard what the healer was saying. I walked in without knocking and said "What's going on with Wolfram? What can we do to help him? Does Yuri know what's going on?" asking all the questions in the breath I gave neither Gwendel nor the healer time to answer.

Before I could rattle off any more questions. Gwendel told me to be quiet. He took a deep breath and said that he hadn't heard what was going on either and if if I wanted to find out what was going on I needed to stop talking and listen to the healer. I followed Gwendel's lead and took a deep breath turning my full attention to the healer.

When the healer noticed that we were completely paying attention. She began to speak about her findings. What she told us was shocking, amazing, and unbelievable. I could hardly believe my ears, but then I thought about an old prophecy I heard about a long time ago I'll have to go and talk to Ulrike and Ken mulatto about this.

I go to the great One's Temple to find Ulrike. The other won't let me in until Ulrike comes. Once I'm alone with her I tell her everything I heard from the healer. She listened to everything quietly. Once I was feeling she asked me to follow her we entered her office.

She goes to her desk and pulls out four different books. They all look quite old. She places them on her desk and then says to me "These are books of prophecy. They have some of the oldest prophecies foretold in history.  From what you're telling me this is probably one of the first legends told.

I'm not sure which book it is in, but we will look through them all. So we can get the details of this prophecy. To make sure everything turns out alright. If this is what I believe it is. The great demon kingdom is about to go through something amazing. The piece that we have now is about to be solidified."

After she finished talking we started looking over the books. We went through three other books before we found the right book. We found a legend it was called the Prosperity of the double black. I read the legend five times to make sure that I didn't miss anything.

When I was sure that I exorb all the information that was available in the prophecy. I put the book down like read after I did just as many times as I did after we made sure of everything we discussed how we would telluric, Wolfram, and the kingdom.

Wolfram POV

I was woken up with a sick feeling in my stomach. I ran to the restroom as fast as I could. When I got back to my room I found Grendel, Conrart, and Gunter waiting for me. From the look on their faces, I knew it couldn't be anything good. I took one big breath and waited for the worst
