This morning I woke up , not to the usual sound of the rooster in the next acre , but to the sound of my phone getting a notification. It was from Kalia , she said something on the lines of " there is a hot new boy starting today -I didn't read it fully , as I was already 5 minutes late for breakfast.
When I got to school Kalia was waiting at the gates for me , eagerly wanting to seek on the new boy. I will be truthful,I only wanted to join in with her as I need a new boyfriend after my ex (Dylan) cheated on me . As we walked in I kept my eyes peeled, hoping and praying I'll see his gorgeous eyes - but after 5 of searching, I couldn't see him , so I gave up all hopes and went on another day without a boyfriend . It has been 6 days since I found out Dylan was cheating , so I'm still not exactly over it - as I haven't even changed my Facebook status to 'single' yet. But, I have to be sly to try to get on his radar before Kalia does ,as she is crushing on him too. I have to sneak my way around him , reach for his heart and then ask him out - simples! Well, at least I think so ...
Then Kalia stopped dead in her tracks causing the guy behind me to bash into my back -then I dropped my p.e kit ,but when I looked up and saw who it was , my heart shrank.It was the new boy!!! He asked if my name ;"Kate" I replied. Then I looked at Kalia . The look on her face explained everything. She was MAD! All she wanted was for that to happen to her , so I think she is jealous. I asked of his name ,and when he answered my heart double-beated."oh I'm Scott , the new guy... sooo ,I'll see you at lunch then " and that's when I felt special. I felt like I was stronger than Kalia, that I was going to become more popular and that I had maybe got a new boyfriend - oh - and the fact that I could sit with the popular girls at lunch! My 1 hour worth of applying makeup daily finally paid off! The next just went like this:"so when did you move to town ?!" I asked,"only yesterday , like not being rude but are you busy later?!" Scott said ."nope.i was gonna just hang with Kalia- just the regular Netflix and chill type of Friday!" I said , trying to act "chill"." I was gonna ask if you want to go to my house warming party - these guys are coming,oh and Kalia can tag along too, but she isn't get as close to me as I hope you do!"he said,"waits so your implying that I am ..." I asked ,"yes I am saying you are hot , at least your hotter than Kalia and Isabelle and all these girls here , oh and here is my number-07825 567319. Call me whenever , as I'm always there for you -Kate". At that moment I felt incredible ! I ran up to Kalia and told her exactly what he said . She wasn't exactly "happy" . I'm now pretty sure she hates me . Great .
