Chapter Eleven

The next day was Alex's first full day at the house. I didn't know what to do, think, or says I just went with it. Zoey demanded she sleep out in the living room with him to make sure he wouldn't leave. I allowed it. It was cute.

"Zoey, come eat." I called for her from the kitchen.

Zoey raised her head up from Alex's chest and looked at me, then laid back down starring at the tv that was playing music.

"Zoey." I glared at her.

She made a sad face.

I saw Alex open his eyes and look at Zooey, "go."

Zoey looked at him and smiled.

I rolled my eyes and walked back in the kitchen.

Shortly Zoey and Alex both greater me by sitting at the kitchen table.

"I love how as soon as you get a daddy you stop listening to me." I said eying Zoey as I finished up cooking.

"You better listen to you mom or I'll start getting rough." Alex told her serious.

Zoey had a scared look I her eye and she ran up and hugged me laughed.

I shook my head and picked her up, giving her a hug.

Later on, JJ, Vincent, and Alex took Zoey out shopping.

"God. Zoey is in love with Alex." I said shaking my head.

"Shouldn't she be?" Courtney asked.

I laughed, "no! She doesn't listen to me now. Only him."

"She just missed him. Give her time. The moment she fucks up with him and whoops her, she'll come running back to you." Brandy laughed.

I just shook my head, "if you say so."

"Were home." Alex said walking in the door.

I smiled, "hey."

Zoey came running and jumped on my lap.

"What is it?" I laughed.

"I missed my mommy." She said hugging me.

"Oh so your a mommies girl again are you?" I looked at her.

She nodded her head.

I looked at Alex and stuck my tongue out at him.

He rolled his eyes, "hey, do you wanna go out tonight? Have that Lizzy girl watch Zoey. All six of us go out on a date?"

I looked at Alex funny then at my friends.

"I had no idea about this." Brandy said shaking her head.

JJ sat next to Courtney smiled, "what do you say?"

Courtney shrugged her shoulders, "I'm okay with it."

"I'm not!" Zoey yelled crossing her arms.

Alex leaned down to her with a smile, "you don't wanna spend the night with Candace?"

Zoey shook her head no.

"Zoey. What if you just stayed their and we picked up in a few hours?" I asked.

She looked at me serious, "promise you'll pick me up?"

I looked at Alex and he signed. I knew what he wanted to do but if would have to wait, Zoey came first.

"I promise." I told her serious.
