Chapter 12

"Thanks Grayson."

"Your welcome; do you want me to stay in here while you change or you want me to leave?"

"I don't care."

"Okay."

Grayson sits on his bed while I start getting dressed.

"I don't want to be too weird but you are very pretty."

"Oh thank you Grayson."

As I start getting undressed I reach to the back of my outfit but I couldn't reach the zipper.

"Grayson, can you help me unzip my back."

"Yeah no problem."

Grayson hops off his bed and walks behind me. I can feel him breathing on my neck. I start to get goosebumps up and down my arms. I do a quick shiver and it scares Grayson.

"Are you cold?"

"A little."

"Here let me warm you up."

He takes his shirt off and wraps his body around me. I lean my head on his shoulder and I can feel a big smile appearing on my face.

"Are you warm now?"

"Definitely!"

Grayson puts his hands on my shoulders and turns me around to where I'm facing him.

"What are you doing?"

"I just love your eye color!"

"I have the same eye color as you do!"

"Oh right."

We both laugh but then I look deep into Grayson's eyes and I can feel myself moving closer to his face. Grayson puts his forehead onto mine. I close my eyes and couldn't think of anything more perfect. I lean off of his head and look at him.

"I think Ethan is wondering what we're doing."

"Right; here let me finish unzipping your dress for you."

He slowly starts to unzip the back of my dress. When he finishes I slowly let the dress drop down to my feet. I reach over and put the old t-shirt and sweatpants on. Once I finished I head for the door but then I feel Grayson put his hands around my waist.

"What are you doing?"

"This.."

Grayson picks me up and pins me against the door. He leans in slowly but I put my finger on his lips.

"I really want to kiss you Grayson, I really do, but I don't want to hurt Ethan's feelings."

"Oh sorry; but I get it you are just trying to protect our friendship."

I couldn't take it. I grabbed his cheeks and leaned in to kiss him. It was so tempting not to kiss Grayson but it was also not tempting to kiss Ethan either. But, Grayson and I were alone and what can one little kiss do.

"Sorry I didn't mean to do that."

I ran downstairs again and found Ethan jumping on the trampoline. I run to the trampoline and hopped on with Ethan scaring him.

"Where did you come from?"

"My mom."

"Oh, where's Gray?"

"He should be coming; oh there he is."

I look over at Grayson and see that he is frowning.
