Chapter 2

At 2 pm, we left the beach and took the bus again. We entered in the boat and we passed through security.

We went to our deck taking the elevator. It was all in glass and very pretty. It was silent in the hallway, all we could hear was the sound of our flip flop hitting the floor each time we were making a step.

Aurora unlocked the door of our cabin and we stepped in. I dropped my thing on the floor and went straight to the bathroom. I slammed the door and locked it.

" I'm the first one taking my shower! " I shouted happy that I had shifted her. I removed my wet swimming suit and threw it on the cold ceramic.

I turned on the shower and stepped in. The fresh water removed all the salt and sand from my body and hair. It was refreshing. I washed myself and got out. I grabbed a bath towel that was on a towel holder and wrapped it around my body. I had forgotten to bring some clean clothes with me in the bathroom. I got out and walked to the little closet. I opened it and started searching for appropriate clothes in it.

I opted for a high waisted shorts and a t-shirt with daisies on it. I went back to the bathroom to dress up.

" I'm quite hungry. Aren't you? " I asked Aurora who was sitting on her bed watching a horrible program on the old TV in our cabin.

" Yeah. We could go to the buffet again and grab a snack. " She replied and stood up to prepare herself.

It was my turn to watch the dumb program while I was waiting for her.

" I'm ready. Let's go. " She said. I turned off the TV and closed the door behind me. After an awkward elevator ride with strangers, we finally reached the buffet.

I scanned the room looking for something good that would full my stomach. My gaze met with a slice of pizza and I decided that it was what I wanted to eat. Aurora had taken a salad. She was way healthier than me.

We went outside to eat. There were tables and chairs outside. We sat down and I savored my pizza.

" I knew it! I knew it! " Aurora shouted. I didn't get what she meant. I looked at her with an intrigued face.

" Look at your right and be subtle. " She added. I turned my head to see the beautiful boy I had met earlier, Niall. She was right, he was on our boat. I was happy and nervous at the same time. He hadn't noticed me.

" What are you waiting for? Go talk to him. " She shouted. I looked again at him. He was talking with another girl. It looked like she was flirting with him. I got angry thinking he was that kind of guy. The kind of guy who is flirting with everything that moves and wants to fuck a different girl every night.

" Don't you see he is with another girl trying to get her to his cabin. " I snapped at her. I didn't mean to, I was just angry that I was one of the girls he was trying to get. I was overreacting I knew it because I didn't even know him. We had just talked for a few minutes. Maybe he was not doing what I thought. I had no proof he was flirting with all the girls.

" I'm sorry. I'm just angry. " I said to Aurora feeling guilty that I had snapped at her.

" It's okay. " She said staring at her plate. I'm sure she was mad because she didn't say another word after.

" I'm going to the pool. Do you want to come? " I asked her to break the silence. She nodded but told me that she wanted to go to our cabin first to grab her book.

There were a lot of kids jumping in the pool and running around. I wanted to go in one of the two hot tubs but there were too many people and I remembered that I had forgotten to put my swimming suit under my clothes like I usually do. I decided to lie on a long chair for awhile and to listen to music. I was about to fall asleep when I heard someone screaming my name. I looked around but I didn't see anyone familiar. I thought it was maybe another person named Kylie. I heard it again but it was coming from above. I got up and looked up. I rolled my eyes when I saw him, Niall. He was on the other deck.

" What? " I shouted with annoyance in my voice.

" Wait, I'm coming ! " He shouted and walked in direction of the stairs. I didn't want to talk to him. I put my earphone back in ears.

" I'm here " He said. I paused my music and waited for him to talk.

" You are admiring my body ?" He said while laughing. He was quite pathetic. He is the type of guy who thinks all the girls are at his feet.

" What do you want? " I shouted. The expression changed on his face when he realized that I was mad.

" Why are you pissed off? " Niall said.

" Because you are flirting with all the girls you see. Go find another one. I'm not interested in you. " I snapped at him.

" Wait what did you see? " He asked. He knew what I was talking about I was sure.

" I saw you like an hour ago flirting with that blonde girl. You don't care about me more than any of these girls. You just want them in your bed. " I had to say it. He started to laugh. I didn't know what he found funny because nothing was. I was serious.

" You think I'm that type of guy... Really? " He said with an amused face.

" Yeah. What is so funny? " He sat beside me on the long chair. He started to give me an explanation.

" It's funny that you have this impression of me. She just started to talk to me and I quite ignored her because I wasn't interested. I'm not like that I swear." He added. Maybe he was right and I was wrong. I jumped to conclusion too early. I decided to give him another chance. I looked like the easy girl but it's not every day that a guy has interest in me.

We both sat on the edge of the pool with only our feet in the water. The temperature was great and I regretted that I didn't have my swimming suit. Niall got up and I heard his steps behind me. Two strong hands pushed me in the water. I had all my clothes on. I pulled my head out of the water. He was laughing so hard.

" I got you. " He shouted proud of himself. He jumped in to join me. He was in is clothes too.

" I'll get my revenge. Don't worry. " I winked at him. He swam in my direction and came closer to me. I could feel his bare chest against me. He put my wet hair behind my ears. My heart was racing. I looked into his eyes. I knew what was coming. His lips were about to meet mine but someone interrupted us.

" Kylie, I'm here! " Aurora shouted. She finally saw us in the pool. I could feel my blood getting to my cheek.

" Oh my god! I'm so sorry. I'm letting you guys alone. " She was so embarrassed, I could see it. I gave her a little smile of compassion. She went away. Niall put his hand on the edge of the pool and pulled himself out of the water. I followed him.

" You are leaving? " I asked him wondering what he was doing.

" Yeah, I'm going to my cabin to change myself and be ready for the diner. "

" Okay. " I said.

" What's your cabin number if I want to see you? " He added. I gave it to him and he walked away. I joined Aurora who was sitting on a chair right beside us. She was pretending that she was reading but I knew she was listening.

" As I see, you aren't mad at him anymore?" She asked lifting her eye brows.

" No, I'm now mad at myself for trusting him. " I said. I was afraid that it was all a lie. I just didn't want to get attached to him because I had that little voice in my head telling me that he was going to break my heart.
