Alphys arrives later with my pack of cigarettes. I thank her and take out a cigarette. I grab my blue lighter from my grey hoodie, lighting it up, taking a long puff. I exhale, smoke coming out of my mouth and gills. " w-woah! That l-looks so c-cool!" " what? This?" I do it again "y-yea! I-it comes out of your gills a-and stuff." " yea. I mean it's not that cool.." " are y-you-" "I'm gonna take a walk." " B-but the snow! A-and your a-arm!" " I'll be fine." " but-" " I'll. Be. Fine." I walk out into the snowy abyss, taking another puff of my cigarette. I walk past small gas stations, houses, stores, and other buildings. I decide to go to a place I used to go a long while ago with Cody and Liam when we were cool with each other. I went to a small cliff, above a now frozen lake. We used to jump from here into the water, pushing each other off, laughing about all the crazy shit we did. I miss it. No stop. You can't miss them. Of all people, I can't miss them.....but I do. I text Liam

I block Liam. I sit down and let my legs dangle over the edge. I look at a rock next to me. Etched into the Rock was "ye boys Cody, Liam, and Undyne." I feel my heart sink. The fucking nerd changed me, it's not my fault. I look down at the thick ice below me, thinking....I think and think.......do they really need me here? I'd rather be with mom....I get up and start to walk back to our dorm. " h-hey Undyne! H-how was your walk?" I acted like it was good. " oh, it was pretty cool! Did you know the ice is really thick down by the pond?" " n-no, w-we should go s-skating!" " nah, I'm not that good anyway." I go in my room and get a sheet of paper and write:

You changed me, and thank you for that, but it's my time to go. I want you to live your life knowing this was NOT your fault. I can already see you blaming yourself for this. Don't. This is all me. At around 12:00 in the morning, I stick the note to the front door. I must have caused a ruckus, because I heard Alphys getting out of bed. I take this opportunity to dash out the door, towards the lake, tears falling from my eye. I get to the top, exhausted. I look at the Rock with the writing on it and write in the corner " I love you alphy <3" I look down at the ice below me. My heart going a mile a minute. Then I hear a rock tumble behind me. " u-Undyne! Please don't- u-Undyne...." She looks up at me, her tear stained face, her eyes meeting my sad tear filled ones. " please d-don't..." " why shouldn't I? I just want her to be here! I want my mom back!" All I can do at this point is jut like on the ground and ball. " h-hey! She's a-always with you..in here..." She points to her heart. " no! I want her here!" I point my finger at the ground....then I get up. And walk forward.

"U-Undyne!"

" remember, I'll always love you.....Alphys. You little punk.....I had to go and fall in love with you didn't I? A dumb jock like me.."
