Madoka stepped inside the school. It was futuristic and binding. It was very impressive. Her eyes widened as she saw the girl she saw by the school gates smile and look at her. She then continued to walk.
Madoka stepped back. How did that girl know her? Did she forget about her? What connection did she have with her? Maybe she was a precious, yet forgotten friend of her's?
Madoka stepped forward. She continued to walk. Although, she walked with fright in her steps. Everywhere she went, the girl was there. And she wore the same smile. It was very frightening.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Madoka stepped into the classroom. She looked at the large and futuristic classroom. She went up to the board. Her pink eyes shined.
Madoka noticed the girl from the hallway. She wanted to run, but she couldn't. She was already I the classroom. There was no going back. She decided to ignore the girl in the classroom. She joyfully walked up to the board in the front of the room, smiling. She introduced herself in a soft yet happy voice.
"Hello! I'm Madoka Kaname! I came from America! It's a pleasure being here! I hope to be friends with all of you!"
She bowed and smiled. She then asked the teacher where she could sit. The teacher smiled and pointed at an empty desk.
"You can sit right there."
The teacher said. Madoka looked to the person who was sitting the nearest to the desk. She noticed it was the girl from before. Fear raced through her heart. Her eyes widened a bit.
She slowly walked towards the desk next to the girl. She uneasily sat down. Her heart beat faster and faster. The girl leaned towards her.
"Are you scared? Well... I don't blame you. Just don't get into any trouble, okay?"
The girl said. She was once again smiling darkly. Her eyes were grim and scary. Is she trying to mock me? Why is she saying such strange things to me? Madoka wondered. She then noticed two girls laughing who were sitting right next to each other. It was a blue haired girl with such short hair that barely reached her shoulders with blue eyes. The other was a girl with res hair in a ponytail with red eyes. Madoka wished that she could laugh like that with the person sitting next to her, too.
Madoka sighed. The teacher then started math class. She started to write equations on the board. They were very complicated questions. Madoka looked at them anticipating the answer. But the girl next to her looked at them as if they were asking what 2+2 was.
When the girl had come up to solve the most complicated problem in The Who lesson, she answered it in about ten seconds. She was astonishing. How could she do it? How was it possible?
Madoka continued to stare at the girl in amazement. She was so smart. And without that smile, she would be beautiful. How was it possible?
Madoka then once again looked at the red ribbon the girl wore on her head. She wondered why it felt like she had seen it before. She surely didn't know the girl. Yet at the same time, she felt as if she had known the girl long ago. But she knew she had never even passed by the girl once in her life, not even for a second. Or did she know her? Questions raced through Madoka's head.
Why did she feel this way? What connection did she previously have with the girl? Why did she feel so many memories with that red ribbon? It didn't make sense to Madoka. None of it did, and it likely would never make sense to her.
((Thank you for reading chapter 2! Chapter 3 should be coming out soon! I hope to see you there! Bye until then!))
