"Um, excuse me sir but you're stepping on my Mom" everything feels like it already happened. Seungcheol slowly looking at the High school student who spoke to him.
The strawberry scent of the stranger's hair, the way he dress.
It reminds him of someone.
It reminds him Jihoon.
"Sir you're stepping on my Mom" the boy repeated.
He looked at The boy. He looked like Jihoon, well not exactly but there's some resemblance. He stared at the boy and yes they do kind of lookedalike but there's something different that he can't tell.
He heard the boy sigh and the next thing he knew was he's being shoved away from the Cherry Blossom tree.
Jihoon would never shove anyone away so rudely, he has a short temper but he would just leave to avoid further problem.
"Hey Mom, It's my 18th birthday--it's been 18 years since you left"
"Hey Kid, sorry to interrupt you but this is my Cherry Blossom Tree. Go find your own" he said.
For fuck's sake Seungcheol you're 28 years old. You're 10 years older than this kid, you can't just let him push you around. He scolds himself.
The boy looked at him with a glare but continued talking. "I got accepted at your old University Mom!" he smiled. So genuine, so pure and so innocent.
There it is again, the feeling of Lee Jihoon on this kid.
The next thing the older knew, the kid was crying rambling words he can't understand, then he acted without thinking. The boy reminds him of Jihoon and he feels connected to the bay.
His feet moved on its own and his body acted without thinking.
The next thing he knew, the boy was in his arms and he's hugging the stranger tightly.
