Usually, the most obvious things are right under your nose. When you lose something or are in desperate search for anything, you will not be able to find it if it is right in your face. We don't pay much attention to the simple things. Every second of your life you were able to see your nose, but you decided not to care about it. Now I might've made it appear and opened your vision. The second thing you are not aware of is your tong. It might be in your mouth but you never gave it importance. Chances are that know you are aware of that also, you feel it and it is in an uncomfortable position.
This is due to the fact that your brain decides to hide unimportant things from your senses. A lot of things happen every day and the brain needs time to comprehend them. If it decides that something is not important it will make it invisible, that way you can concentrate on crossing the road, eating or playing games.
I just made you aware of two parts of your body that you most certainly ignored.
This is the case with the shadow people. If it is so hard to pay attention to your own body parts, just think of how hard is to pay attention to the things that are not part of you.
They are among us. Some people say that they are part of another dimension, from another reality that is interconnected to ours. Other, more religious people, speculate that they are either ghosts or demons. In the ancient cultures, they were called spirits, sprites, fairies and basically everything that can not be explained by science or common sense.
I've seen them in multiple locations. Before I opened my eyes and became aware of them, they were just something in peripheral vision. The feeling of being followed in an empty street, the noises I heard at night before I fell asleep, the strange sensation that there is someone else with me in my room, the reason why I was always woken up between 3 AM and 4 AM without a reason. All those things got an explanation in the end. Now wish I haven't dig so much, but my curiosity got the best of me.
I will share with you their backstory. It took me a long time to put every piece together but now I am almost certain I understand who they are and what they want. I don't have enough time as I have to run and hide for a while until they lose my track. I hope everything solves out in the end.
A word of advice before I'll give you more information: if you see them, act like they are not there like you always did.
