Rayben, Horizon, and Herme1a were walking along the beach, all looking for something to do. Herme1a looked down to Rayben and Horizon, then looked up.
"So... do you have any idea where we're going Rayben?" She asked him.
  Rayben shrugged.
"I was just hoping that I'd run into a fight or something. Like, anything. I will even play Yu-Gi-Oh with some random guy who pops out from the trees."
Just then, a scavenger with hair that shouted "I'M THE PROTAGONIST" jumped from within the trees. He smirked and then looked up at the three wanderers.
"I've been in that tree for several hours waiting for you to come by and say that!" The scavenger said, his voice oddly deep for someone of his age. "Now it is time to duel!" He put his arm up and the disk on his arm grew so it could support 5 cards. He then pushed his deck into the holder.
Herme1a stepped up. "I'll handle this." She said, putting her talon up to cast a spell on the random scavenger.
Rayben placed his hand in front of her talon. He looked at her and shook his head.
"No, I'll handle this. You two just sit back and watch the show." He said, not hiding his enthusiasm all too well.
Rayben glanced at the scavenger then pulled out his own Yu-Gi-Oh deck.
"Do you have another disk?" Rayben asked, waiting for a reply.
The scavenger nodded then passed him a black disk just like his.
Rayben caught the disk then slipped it on. He then winced as a few sharp thorns stabbed into his arm. Blood trickled down his sleeves, which made the scavenger smirk even more.
"What in three moons is this??" Rayben asked, holding the blood back then proceeding to look up at the scavenger with malice in his eyes. "Better yet... who sent you?"
The scavenger started to laugh crazily, his eyes watering up because of how funny he thought this was.
"You're in no position to ask that second question! But I will tell you what these are! These are Soul Disks! The more life points you lose, the more you lose your soul! And if you lose... Your soul is His!"
The scavenger exclaims, laughing louder and crazier.
Horizon and Herme1a gasped then started to rush over to help but they were blasted back by the scavenger.
"No interruptions now kiddies!" The scavenger said, laughing maniacally now at this point.
Rayben gritted his teeth. He was hoping for excitement, but this was too much. He was now on the verge of losing his soul to this manics master, who wants his soul for some reason. Rayben stared down the scavenger.
The true duel, one that could mean utter defeat or a great victory, was about to unfold...

I was playing Duel Links and I got the idea to make a few chapters about dueling. Rayben is in for it now though, for this mysterious scavenger will prove to be a foe worthy of dueling a god...
