3rd person POV
It was 6 in the morning when Luna's alarm went off, she groaned and sat up. She felt a throbbing pain in her left cheek , she slightly touched it which made her flinch. She quickly went over to her mirror and saw a huge cut on her cheek.
"Did she slap me that hard? what the fuck," she mumbled to herself. She rolled her eyes and sighed. She then got her clothes that she was gonna wear for the school day. Once she got undressed she turned on the shower cap and the cold water streamed down her body, she jumped at how cold it was. After a few minutes, Luna finished up doing her makeup and hair.
"Oh my goddd," Luna cried as she couldn't hide the mark on her cheek. She tried to cover it with foundation but it wouldn't work.
"whatever," she grabbed her backpack and headed out.
She checked her phone for notifications,
Finn Wolfart :
Walk to school with me dood!
Luna then replied to Finn,
Me:
On my wayyy
Once Luna got to Finn's house , Finn was already outside waiting for her.
"yo" Finn said playfully punching Luna's arm. Luna turned to Finn and rolled her eyes.
"what the fuck happened?" Finn turned Luna's head to see her left cheek.
"I hit my cheek when I was riding my bike" Luna lied. Finn laughed,
"You know , you suck ass at lying!" "I'm not lying," Luna mumbled looking at the ground.
"Luna , I know when you're lying or not" Finn said in a more serious tone. "Now tell me what happened," Luna sighed, "fine."
Once Luna got done telling Finn , Finn was actually not shocked at all. He knew that her mom was abusive and had anger issues.
"You should have told me, or- or texted me at least. I would've been there for you," Finn said in a pity voice.
"It's really nothing , I'm used to it anyways," Luna said.
"Well , if that ever happens again , always call me okay?" Finn stopped to make sure. "Okay??" He repeated. "Okay!!" Luna laughed as she put her hands up. Finn looked into Luna's eyes, "what?" Luna asked,
"n-nothin," Finn always thought Luna was beautiful girl , but he knew it would never work out and that they were bestfriends. He put his hands in his pockets awkwardly.
"Okay , well we're here, I'll see you later?" Luna gave Finn a side hug and left.
"yeah," Finn mumbled as he eyed Luna. He then pivoted his feet to head to his class.
